Easy to assemble. 1. Turn lever to suction onto counter. 2. Insert your Bartel of choice. 3. Secure the handle. I was able to slice 10 medium size potatoes for a scalloped potato receipe in less than 2min. Next day made shredded potatoes for egg casserol in less than 2 min again. The metal cutter is extra sharp. Cleaning is a quick rinse. Talk down is just as quick as set up. There’s a lot of options out there but I went with this one and glad i did.

I have use to grade fresh veggies, cheeses, nuts and the dried garden herbs that I grow for cooking to even fine grading of dried bread for bread crumbs. Easy clean up as I do suggest to wash by hand. Even though it states that it is dishwasher safe, most dishwasher use a high temperature of hot water to clean and sanitize that could warp or melt any items made of plastic no matter how well they are made. This was easily put together and take apart quickly and cleanup was a breeze with hand washing. The suction on the bottom is strong and holds to kitchen counter and even to the marble cutting board on my countertop. It stores nicely together in a draw and out of the way when not in use. Very happy with the purchase.
