Beautiful finish!
Used for sourdough bread baking, works perfectly! Love the oval shape of it. It was slightly heavier than I imagined, but not too heavy to lift out of the oven! Just good quality and study. Super easy to clean. The color is gorgeous!

This is my first Dutch oven and this Crockpot brand was a solid choice to start my collection. The color is vibrant and beautiful. No defects or enamel chips during shipping. Has a nice weight to it. I believe this was a reasonable price for the quality of this product. Iâm happy with my purchase.* I will update my review after washing and cooking with it. *

8 Qt Crock pot oval enameled cast iron cooking pot
This pot is visually striking! Itâs just beautiful. The light colored interior is a plus for me because I am visually impaired so I can better gauge my cooking progress. The oval shape allows me to prepare soups, stews and bake bread in a loaf configuration. Also I get the benefits of cast iron without the care and maintenance of my traditional cast iron and carbon steel pans. And did I mention-itâs just pretty! It dresses up my kitchen a little. I really really wanted the purplish color-forget the name-but I saw this and loved it! I have not used it yet. Ha! Thatâs right. But I have others so Iâm not just whistling Dixie OK? These cook amazingly well. Hold and distribute heat well. They clean up well but over time they do tend to stain and the enamel surface will chip on the exterior but wonât affect the cooking but they all do it-even the more expensive ones-not naming any names here but just saying. Now Iâm not an authority on this, just sharing my more than 𧸠years of cooking experience. And if this particular item proves me wrong Iâll be back for a correction.

I purchased the Sunset Orange 7 Quart. Deep sturdy and really look forward to cooking a big baking chicken soon. I did wash it up upon receiving, and decided because I have stone countertops and a very deep sink I will remember to place a dish towel to the side and just in front of me, to help buffer the heft of this pan against the sides of the sink and the stone counter when Iâm washing up. Thatâs just me Iâm a Girl Scout at heart. But really love this crockpot and the color reminds me of my Mama, and her beautiful orange lipstick just like Marilynsð.

My very first loaf of sourdough came out golden, crusty and with a wonderful crumb, despite the fact that I overproofed! Love it
I mainly use this for lasagna, I needed a bigger dish for it, and the speckled enamel one I had was horrible. This one is really good though. I love that it’s cast iron, and the enamel is easy to clean. Very durable, and it’s a beautiful color.

The absolute best Dutch Oven we own
We have 4 different types of Dutch ovens – including a $400 12 quart model. Sometimes round Dutch Ovens are limited in the amount of things you can put around the meat in the middle. So we decided to try this oval shaped Dutch Oven. Our commercial stove has a center burner that is long and wide, which fit perfectly under this Dutch Oven. We tried it for the first time today, making a British Guinness Stew & Dumplings and it performed perfectly. I was expecting it to be hard to clean because of the amount of floured beef we fried, but it was clean in two minutes! The heat distribution with the cast iron is top-notch. We purchased the Blue color and it is gorgeous – looks great on our kitchen shelves. Be warned it is heavy, but what would you expect from cast iron. I would give this Dutch Oven 6 stars if I could, as it was perfect in every way – beautiful, cooks perfectly and easy to clean. Crock Pot outdid themselves when they made this. Definitely recommend…

This is a quality enameled cast iron pot which works flawlessly on our induction range. The heat is distributed evenly in this cast iron pot, it keeps cooking times to a minimum, excellent for slow cooking. And cleaning this pot is a breeze. This is a heavy pot so care is needed if your range has a glass or ceramic top. It also works great in the oven. It can be washed in the dishwasher, but I would recommend hand washing. Great product at a great price.

I bought the teal and it is stunning. Great for roasting chickens or any braising. Very easy to clean too. I love how it looks and it stays displayed in my kitchen. It is very heavy so feels very substantial. Or hung against the other more expensive brand. This feels like the exact same quality to me.
