Prime Member that’s Happy with the pot
Prime Member; I love this pot. I have a thick aluminum 12 qt. but sometimes needed something just a little bit bigger for family chili and stew parties. This stainless steel pot is so much safer to eat out of and its also lighter but very strong. I may buy 2 more of the farberware brand in different sizes. Pros; clad bottom keeps food from scorching and it heats evenly. it’s also easy to clean. the dome lid is strong and keeps condensation constantly returning back to the pot. There is no cons for this item. I wasn’t paid to write this and I paid full price for the pot. Okay folks it’s been a few months I have used this spot many times this pot is a heavy duty stainless steel pot it has kept its looks it’s still just as shiny as it was the day I received it after many many uses easy to clean it’s got a flat bottom so food heat evenly I have no scorching it’s just a good all-around all-purpose pot when you need a big pot to feed a big crowd or a big family get-together and if it’s not a big get-together you can use the spot for small batches it Cooks just as well cooking a small batch as it does a very large batch easy to clean sounds easy it’s got the dog to live it’s a heavy-duty don’t let the handles are strong I’ve had no problems carrying it with a full capacity it’s just a good heavy nice-looking pot you can’t go wrong with this price I’m glad I bought it and thinking about buying another one just for super large crowds

Buy Farberware pots and pans and you will have them for a lifetime!
Farberware brand has been synonymous in our family for as long as I can remember. My mother had Farberware, my sister and I have Farberware and our children will ALL have Farberware products in their households. I even snagged all my motherâs Farberware pots when she passed away and still use them to this day. I just bought my grandson’s wife her first set of Farberware pots and pans for Christmas. She called me immediately when she opened the huge box I sent to her in Canada and she couldn’t stop screaming with delight over her new pots and pans because of the quality, the shape of the handle, and the ease of cooking with them. Yes, she had already started cooking in them when she called me. I bought her a starter set – one 0.625 quarts, Stainless Steel Butter Warmer/Small Saucepan, two 1-quart, two 2-quart, two 3-quart Non-stick Pan/with lid, one 16-quart stock pot/with lid, one Glide Deep Nonstick Frying Pan-12.5 inch, and one Glide Ceramic Nonstick Saute Pan with lid and Helper Handle 4-quart. I know what all of you are thinking right now â that this was an expensive purchase on my part. However, when you have a growing family of five and you want to have the best tools/pots to make the best meals for a lifetime â you buy Farberware. Iâm 69 years old and through the years Iâve tried a lot of different brands. Iâve thrown away all the inferior pots and pans (or sold them for pennies on the dollar in garage sales) that advertisers have said were better. I now have nothing but Farberware in my kitchen cabinets for superior-quality cooking and ease of cleanup. So, if you want a âwork-horseâ set of pots and pans that will stand the test of time â buy Farberware â I highly recommend them. – enough said!

while also doubling as a good platform on which to sweat onions for a soup
An absolute workhorse. Ever try making large amounts of stock for soup and sauces in a tiny stockpot? Forget it. At 16 qts, four full gallons, THIS is a stockpot. Twice the size of the next biggest vessel in my kitchen, this is the big pot for big jobs.Stainless steel is non-reactive, unlike aluminum, so you can make tomato-based brown stocks, sauces, or any other acidic recipes. Solid construction, tall to avoid taking up too much room, still big enough to nest your other pots inside. The lid (steel, so no worries about dropping it and having a pot without a lid) is lightweight, a plus, but this does mean it’ll get hot after an extended stay on the burner. However, it cools off fairly quickly, and I just keep a potholder handy. The heavy-duty aluminium core bottom heats evenly and helps resist scorching, while also doubling as a good platform on which to sweat onions for a soup.I use this pot at least once or twice a month as a dedicated stockpot, plus it sees action whenever I make large pots of soup, tomato sauce, or boil pasta for a crowd.Well worth the investment.

Excellent value!
I’ve been using an inexpensive, rather flimsy 18-quart stock pot for the past several years because I thought I really couldn’t justify paying a much higher price for something I don’t really use all that frequently (maybe 3 or 4 times a year)…I thought it would probably cost $150-$200 or more to purchase a high quality stock pot in a similar size, but I ran across this Farberware stockpot for a very reasonable price–way under $100. I own many smaller size pieces of cookware in this brand (some are 35 years old or more) and they have been sturdy and long-lasting and require very little care. So, I ordered this one and am so happy I did! It is great–it is MUCH heavier than than the pot I am replacing and the quality of construction is evident. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to buy this! No more worrying about a potential failure during use–so I use my new stock pot much more often than I ever thought I would! I also like the shape of the new stock pot better–it is a little more squat; shorter and wider than my old one so it is easier to cook with (and easier to fit in the sink) and it looks terrific…

Fantastic pot
I bought one over 20 years ago and gave it to my mom. She loved it. Needed a large pot and thankful it was still being made. Compared the two and nothing changed. Still great!!

Big stockpot – great for crowds
This is a quality stockpot at a great price. BIG enough to make soups, stews, spaghetti sauce, chili, or cook a lot of pasta for a crowd. You can put an entire chicken inside to make chicken soup or stock and still have room for vegetables. I bought two of them for Christmas gifts last year for a daughter and a daughter in law. They love their stock pots. Easy to clean, too.

I found marks at the bottom of the pot which can’t be washed out. It should be the quality of the material that they used is not in high quality. Wonder if it is safe to cook. Besides
