Have an old one , used for yrs but finally gone by the way as an âantique â. This one made so much better as it has a nice little catch cup and the handle is rubberized so it cushions your hand better and of course the metal now days is thicker and doesnât rust like the old ones use to.Great for shredding anything and very easy to clean up . I thought the price was really good also . Perfect size and that sucker will grate anything. Every kitchen should have one .

No rust after running through the dishwasher
Picked this up to replace an old grater that had rusted. Settled on this one after reading reviews on several others. So far weâve used it to grate cheese. It handled that just fine. The container it sits on to catch what youâre grating is handy. The test was the dishwasher. Came out just fine. Clean and no rust. No problem with the grip you hold or the grip on the bottom to keep it from skidding as you grate from running in the dishwasher either. Our old grater rusted first time through the dishwasher. Will come back and change this review if it starts rusting. This is a kitchen item that for us has to handle the dishwasher. Iâll hand wash certain things – but not a grater. Recommend!

I bought this when my KitchenAid handle broke. I loved the paint colour and it seemed according to what Iâd read that it was approximately the same size. Although the quality of this item is really good, and the colour is so pretty, it was much smaller than I anticipated After reading the reviews. So very sadly, I returned it. Definitely great quality and very pretty so if it doesnât matter, if itâs quite small, definitely buy this product!
