CUISINART 1.5 QUART Professional Series ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
The Cuisinart 1.5 quart professional series sauce pan is a really beautiful looking pot. It feels very sturdy and solid. That being said, the dimensions on Amazon’s website were copied from Cuisinart’s website and it’s wrong on both sites. Yes it is the wrong dimensions on Cuisinart’s website. They list two sets of measurements for the pot. One is the measurements of the pot which is wrong and the second is the measurement of the box the pot comes in ! It is the measurements of the box that are here on Amazon for the 1.5 quart❗️ I have included pictures of the pot with their true measurements. The length to the end tip of the handle is 13 1/4 “. The width of the pot ( the opening) is 6 3/4″. The outside depth of the pot is 3 1/4″. The inside of the pot depth is 2 14/16”. For anyone who is interested, the 3 quart pot also has the wrong dimensions. I included a pic of both the 1.5 quart and the 3 quart pots. When I get a chance to use both of these I will return with a full review. Hope this info.helps.I have used my 3 quart and 1.5 quart Cuisinart Professional Stainless steel pots and they are fantastic. They heat everything evenly just like their skillets . My main complaint about my VERY OLD pots was that they took a long time just to boil water. My old pots belonged to my mom and she has been dead for 50 years, so I figured it was time to replace them. I wish I had done it much sooner. I also want to get a 2 quart pot from Cuisinart and that will be the Cuisinart French Classic . The Professional Stainless Steel doesn’t have a 2 quart pot, go figure.I have since improved my stars to 5 stars.

1.5 qt – Great for gas range, not recommended for flat top
The sauce pan has same diameter from bottom to top except for the lip. The sharp lip makes it practically dripless. The pan has a heavy base and appears well built and balanced. It exactly fits the 6 inch cook top without showing any glow of the heater. Heats up evenly and cooks well. For gas, this is great but for flat cooktop it creates a hot spot at the center of the burner. The bottom of the pan is not flat throughout. At the center is a two inch diameter indentation about 1/16th of an inch deep. Stamped with Cuisinart. This area does not touch the flat top. This is not an issue when using on gas burner. The inside bottom edge is a near right angle and not round like many other sauce pans. Easy to clean and does a great job when dry roasting. Does not burn food.If you are using this on a small gas burner, this is one of the best sauce pan for the price. Did not use it in the oven. Wish it had absolutely flat bottom throughout.

    Impressed with quality and weight
This pan is really nice quality and feels heavy. Compare the weight to other similar sized pans. I am extremely please with my purchase.

Cuisinart and Amazon advertised the product with a life long warranty but within 2 months it’s sort of started chipping off and it’s only used for making porridge with silicone spatula.

If you are looking to upgrade some of your older worn pots, I feel you can not go wrong with this stuff. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but boy is it nice, well made, quality workmanship, and a pleasure to use.
