I use this dough scraper for general kitchen tasks like scooping and sweeping flat surfaces, and for sourdough/dough shaping, mixing, and handling. It is stiff enough to hold up to a ~2 kg shaggy lump of bread dough, large enough to hold comfortably in hand, and has a good mix of curvatures on the surface for scraping out bowls or flat surfaces. The hole for hanging is a plus, although I don’t use it. This was a good purchase.

Good for the job but not great
I have another silicone bowl scraper with a metal core and softer edges I much prefer. But it doesnât have a flat side so I bought this one. I just wish this one had the same softer edges. The edges bend minimally so doesnât do as great a job nor as quickly to clear a bowl of batter but it works. A little smaller would also have made it more manageable inside bowls. Maybe Iâll use it to clear flat surfaces more.
