I read the reviews and saw pics. But I still took a chance to review it for myself!I’ve been needing a new kettle and I don’t like electric ones. This fit the bill and is sleek and nice. It seems durable for now. My old one got kinda rusty,I hope this stainless steel holds up but I’m not too hopeful as most tarnish and turn a copper color. I washed it and made sure the whistle makes noise. It’s not too loud or too low. It’s just right! It works perfectAnd the handle doesn’t get hot and burn your hands. I’m glad I took a chance. No regrets on this purchase! I didn’t expect much since it was inexpensive but it’s perfect for me!

heats water super fast – maybe the shape?
caught the Flu, and needed a thermometer the same day. So, I ordered something else to qualify for free same-day shipping (above $25) and needed a tea kettle for tea during my Flu. Somehow this heats a full kettle of water really fast. Don’t know why. It just does; maybe the design/shape. Love the stainless steel. Very well made BUT the handle does get too hot. It is only heat resistant – so I use a towel or potholder, I don’t care. Otherwise, it is very well-made and pretty much seamless. Easy operation of the open-close spout.

Perfect fit to my coffee plunger!
Trying to get away from plastic, this was my first time using a coffee plunger, and I was skeptical about whether it would make a cup of coffee as good as my Keurig. I had to buy a kettle for hot water, and I purchased this one. I am happy that it works very well at heating the water to a boil and letting me know when it’s ready with a not-too-loud whistle. The perfect water temperature and good coffee grains make the perfect cup of coffee. This kettle boils the water better than my Keurig does. Yes, more steps are involved with a plunger and kettle than with the Keurig, but I don’t mind because my health comes first and I get a better cup of coffeeâthe stainless steel plunger I also bought from Amazon.
