Great pan/lid with no sticking of food and cleans easily!
I really like my GreenPan Valencia Pro Tri-Ply Stainless Steel pan/lid. I was given other pieces of this brand at Christmas and needed this size too. I love the fact that things do not stick to the pan and cleanup is so easy with just a little soap and water. I do not put them in the dishwasher because of the ease of cleaning. It takes a little getting used to not cooking things on high, but just heating the pan on medium has done a great job for everything I have made in the pot.

LOVE this saucepan!
I’ve done a lot of research non-stick ceramic cookware. The rating and performance of the frying pan tested in American Test Kitchen led me to GreenPan Valencia Pro. Amazon offered a better deal than GreenPan’s site during Black Friday. The stainless steel finish currently blends in with other stainless steel saucepans we’ve acquired ad-hoc. This is intended to be an ‘everyday saucepan’ for cooking oatmeal, browning butter, steaming broccoli, mixing and melting hot chocolate, and sauteeing garlic. It was weighted just right and heat distributes evenly without hotpots in the saucepan. The handle stays cool and grips comfortably, even when iifting it filled with food. The best feature is the effortless clean-up. Scrubbing and soaking food remnants cooked into stainless steel cookware is and takes extra time to clean. The ceramic surface in the saucepan removes the muscle work required to clean it thoroughly. It only takes a strong stream of hot water from the kitchen faucet to clean most of it – problemOverall, it’s a beautiful pan built with a quality allowing it to be used daily for years before it needs to be replaced. It’s a great investment, even if you don’t purchase on sale!

Nice
I like ceramic coated pans as they stick less and are easier to clean. This pot is no exception. It’s great for what I need it for. It heated evenly and was easy to clean and care for.

Solid pan: recommend
So far I’ve been loving this pan. I followed the use and care instructions very carefully and am taking good care of the pan. I use it several times a week.

Love the ceramic coating
I think this is the third or fourth piece of cookware from GreenPan, and like those others it’s (so far) been a fantastic pot. Usually we go for uncoated stainless steel or cast iron cookware because of the environmental and health issues associated with nonstick/Teflon.This pot checks many of the boxes for long term cookware – distributes heat evenly, can go from stovetop to oven without damaging the metal, no thin walls or bottom, tight fitting lid, no plastic handles which can melt or crack, safe for use with metal utensils (which is great because those black plastic kitchen utensils have been found to leak chemicals into food). This pot is also dishwasher safe, but since dishwashers can be harsh on stainless steel it’s always better to hand wash. And luckily with the ceramic coating, very little sticks to the inside so there’s no need to scrub hard. If you wipe out the interior of this pot while it’s still warm, just about everything comes right off with the exception of a bit of food that might stick around the bolts where the handle is secured. I hope they never find harmful chemicals in ceramic coating because it is so darn easy to clean! Ceramic coating can scratch but it’s still incredibly durable. The only ceramic coated pan or pot we’ve had scratch is one where a houseguest used a steak knife to cut something in the pan and dug into the coating with the sharp tip of the knife. Sigh….Because top quality cookware is so expense, over the years we’ve replaced or added to what’s needed in a piecemeal way. A my husband is often working on the road and living out of our camper, he needed a set of cookware to get him started. This smaller pot has made a great addition to his current mismatched set as he didn’t have a smaller pot like this, just a couple of cast iron skillets. He has discovered how much he enjoys cooking, so it was time to add on. The camper stove is gas which can discolor or burn the bottom of cheaper cookware. Even after months of use, this pot still looks brand new. At the almost $90 price tag, you could buy a set of poorly made set of aluminum cookware with plastic handles, a set the might last you a year before the nonstick interiors are scratched and flaking off and half the pans are warped. Or you could invest in a piece that will last for decades even if it means building your cookware set piece by piece. Doesn’t matter if they match. What matters is how they perform and how long they last.
