6 1/2 inch bottom and 8 inch rim
Not gonna lie when I opened the box I nearly sent it back. You must be joking the smallest fry pan Iâve ever seen. When I ordered what looked like a straight sided pan I expected an 8 inch bottom not 6 1/2 inch., But I decided to give the midget a run on my induction cooktop since it was here. Thereâs only my husband and I so breakfast, fried ham or sausage maybe a fried potato and 4 scrambled eggs arenât huge pan items anyway. I was so surprised that this pan takes it all. It cooks very evenly. Cleans with a paper towel wipeout and never sticks for me. I have to admit , after a few weeks of using it , itâs my go to pan. I liked it well enough to buy its 10â brother this week. It is much heavier than a standard Teflon pan but not cast iron heavy. The one thing I donât like is the outside of the pan rivets have lots of nooks and crannies and will be harder to keep clean. Over all I would gladly buy it again. I havenât used it in the oven yet but up to 600 degrees sounds awesome.

Great performance. Worth every penny. I used to ponder hexclad as I enjoy Gordon Ramsayâs shows, but after more than a year of satisfied use with this Oxo pan Iâve decided thereâs no reason to look for a better pan. Nothing sticks to it; itâs easy to clean. The extra depth is appreciated, the sides are sloped well; great for eggs (fried or scrambled), a large burger, grilling a sandwich, and just about everything Iâve tried. You can buy a pair of two (this and a larger size) for not much more – a great deal.

This is a nice small frying pan I use it to make my eggs, and other small dishes. It’s lightweight ,non stick and easy to clean. I was pleasantly surprise to find that the handle did not get hot as I thought it would. It had a funny smell when it arrived, which disappeared after a thorough washing

I have bought several coated and non coated fry pans in the past and never had good luck keeping the non stick surface, non stick. Then I bought my first Oxo 12 inch fry pan last year and have now purchased an 8 inch. So far these clean up the easiest of all my cookware. I wipe it clean with a paper towel and run hot water over it while washing with a non scratch pad. They always look perfect when I’m done and I don’t have the scratches that usually appear even after short term use . I recommend these if your looking for something that last longer and is easy to clean.

Lost non-stick VERY soon
Every non stick pan I’ve ever had lasted at least a year and was effective as a non-stick surface. This one lasted a month. The surface is noticeably matted now – not slick. Very disappointed.

I bought this 8â and a 12â inch and tossed out 6 skillets. Bought this from an Americaâs Test Kitchen review and am wondering why I didnât discover this pan sooner. The pan is light, handle is comfortable to hold and love that it has flush-to-the-pan handle attachments inside which makes cleaning easy. Itâs made with non-toxic materials and it can withstand being in oven temp up to 600 degrees! Where has this skillet been all my life?!

Overall a solid pan that is nicely weighted and distributes heat well. However, while the non-stick performance was FANTASTIC for the first couple weeks, it has diminished quite significantly at just shy of the 30 day mark.Our testing method is frying an egg without the use of fat. Initially, it performed admirably – not a speck of egg remained on the pan. Today, cooking an egg requires the light use of oil to have similar results.

I ordered this frying pan after watching the AMERICAN TEST KITCHEN REVIEW of frying pans. The description of this frying pan states 8â pan. The cooking bottom measures 7â on the bottom; barely enough room to cook two eggs. The lip of the frying pan measures 8â but I canât cook eggs on the lip. Consumer and Corporate affairs will be notified as this is false advertising. BEWARE CONSUMERS.
