I purchased this item to replace a 20+ year old electric stick knife I had. One thing that drew me to this was the design. It has a similiar handle to a hand mixer. That made it feel comfortable to operate right from the start. It comes with a meat blade and a bread blade. I make home bread so that was a another assest to this knife. I have had no issues with it making nice slices of bread.

Handle Makes It Easier!!
I had a knife that did not have a handle, and while it was functioning fine, I found my arthritic hands simply could not grasp around the large body of the knife, hold it securely, and slice a. nything without discomfort.
