The set is well worth the price. Very sturdy thick no rust still shines after almost two months of use. I do not use a dishwasher. I wash daily in the sink heavy on the bleach as well. I still no rust fading chipping . Actually bought another set . The gold glow is from the reflection of other objects in kitchen.. They still have shine and color.

my daughter loved this silverware set, but she was only able to find individual pieces at Walmart and they only had like a couple spoons a knife and two forks we looked all over could not find them went to Amazon and I bought the whole entire package for eight settings And she loves it. It was a great Christmas gift for her. They are so beautiful they go with anything because they shimmer with golden pink and blue.
