I needed a small pot for cooking a small amount of vegetables or boiling eggs. My old 1 qt pot finally bit the dust. Its hard to find a 1 qt, i believe this is 1.5. good enough. This was perfect. Size, looks and how it does the job. Nothing sticks and it cleans up beautifully . Great value.

Perfect for small cooking jobs
I sometimes need a smaller, shallow pan for small sauces and gravy recipes. This is perfect. My only critique is that it seems to be a lighter, less durable stainless steel which sometimes leads to sticking from higher heat. This rarely happens to me with heavier pans.

A very well constructed pan with a well fitted lid that you can see through. I have a small pan but it is just a bit too small for heating soups. This pan is perfect as it is taller than my old pan and the see through lid is helpful to watch for boiling. I am very pleased with this purchase. It also cleans up easlily after use. Perfect for our frequent soup days here in the great northwest!
