Great sharpener for noobs or electricians
What can I say. It’s cheap, it has a shield to protect your hands from getting cut, it works, it’s light, it’s bright yellow, and it’s easy to use. If you don’t know how to preofesionally sharpen your knife like 99.9% of the population then this is a handy rig to have in your tool pouch. A couple of passes on your knife daily keeps it nice and sharp. It’s idiot proof and you don’t need to know anything about sharpening or angles. Just slide the shaprpener along the length of the blade. You can’t beat the cost of this thing either. And it’s bright yellow so it’s very easy to see. I see it as a msut have for any electrician. I’d even recommend this before purchasing side cutters as it will get more use. Most electricians have dull knives and then ask to borrow my knife or ask me try and sharpen their old pitted knife that is beyond repair unless you bring it in to a professional to have ground down. Buy one of these and keep your knife sharp to prevent it form getting old and pitted.

Like others have mentioned, this is small, fits in tool bag. Sharpens my Klein electrician scissors surprisingly well, which is the reason I bought it. Mediocre on pocket knife; wetstone works better. If your like me & use your snips for other purposes like pliers, chisle, sometimes a drywall saw, ect., you know…pick one of these up. A couple of draws on this & snips were sharp as new again.

I couldn’t be happier with my recent purchase of the Klein Tools Combination Sharpener. It’s unique design allows you to get into tight spaces with ease, yet your fingers are protected by the built in guard. I had a sharpener similar to this one at one time, but it didn’t have the additional feature of the scissors sharpener! This is a very compact, complete sharpening tool at a reasonable price. I would recommend it to anyone!

I purchased this for sharpening my scissors NOT for a knife sharpener. Unfortunately it did NOT sharpen any of my scissors. It did sharpen my knives so I suggest that market this correctly.

This is not my first Klein sharpener. Iâve had one for over twenty years. It was completely worn out. I would highly recommend getting one. They sharpen any knife out there; carving knives, bread knives and amazingly those every day steak knives. Never tried it on scissors though I just cut tin foil but ⦠always the first time,right?

Was very sceptical when purchasing as have bought so many expensive sharpeners in the past and been very disappointed. So after watching the video and reading reviews, I ordered one.When it arrived, I thought here we go again, but no⦠it really works, very happy with this purchase.Just be careful to use it correctly as instructed or it might be a trip to the local ED as it is very sharp
