Good simple toaster.
This is a good toaster for the price you pay. Four slots total. Two on each side, so if she likes her two slices of toast darker or lighter than yours, you have one less thing to fight about. The toaster arrives with the dial set to the lowest setting, so if you put bread in and push the lever down, it will instantly pop back up. NO, your toaster is NOT BROKEN, just change the dial setting and voilà ! Toast!The biggest selling point for me is that this is JUST A TOASTER. No fancy gadgets, no LCD screens, no Wi-Fi, no smart phone apps. IT’S A PLAIN, GOOD OLD FASHIONED TOASTER!Would recommend if you just want toast, because that’s all I want.

Great 4 slice toaster
We purchased this for a lake cottage short term rental that sleeps 8. For that reason it was important to find a 4 slice toaster. Liked the black color to coordinate with cabinet pulls. This is cool touch so was able to plug it into the pantry and leave there, so as not to have on the counter.

Great Toaster
This toaster works well with whatever size bread/bagel you are toasting. Nothing ever seems to get stuck in the slots. Toasting levels are accurate and browns nicely.

really doesn’t toast very evenly
I bought this basically for my son who makes 4 slices of toast at a time. I thought it would be convenient but I noticed that the toast either burns on one end or doesn’t toast much if you turn it down so it doesn’t burn. The 2 doors on the bottom that helps empty crumbs don’t always stay closed. I have put in raisin bread and it starts smoking almost at once when the heat hits it. It takes a lot of adjusting just to get a decent piece of toast.

This toaster only worked for about a month. I did as instructed and reached out to the manufacturer by email(see attached). They have as of yet to respond. Take my advise and don’t purchase, especially don’t purchase from a company that doesn’t care to respond and sells faulty appliances ⢠Message: I purchased the Continental Electric CE- TT029 toaster on July 7, 2024. Everything was working fine until this week. Every time I tried to use the toaster, my bread burns no matter what setting it’s on. I’ve even tried it on setting #1 and at least one side burns. Please advise me how to resolve this problem. Thank you.
