So my original dial ended up getting melted in a kitchen accident! anyway, I needed a new dial and I was worried it wasnât going to fit my crockpot since itâs only a 2 qt and is very small compared to the ones people had here. It actually fit great and was small than the one that my crockpot originally came with! Took less than a minute to install and it very sturdy. Perfect fit
Easy to install. Perfect fit for Rival slow cooker. Only reason I did not go to 5 was because the temp selector line on the knob is upside down. Maybe there is a way to install to get the mark right side up but I was not able to figure it out. But it really does not make a difference. There are only 3 positions (off, low, high) so not hard to figure out where to position. Was a quick fix for an older slow cooker at the cabin.

So, I haul out my trusty 14yo slow cooker for making the traditional Super Bowl chili, only to find that the plastic temperature control knob had cracked. While using a set of pliers in place of the knob would work fine, I decided to see if I could find a replacement knob. When this knob appeared in my search, I decided to take a chance on it, not least because of a review with a photo showing that it fit a slow cooker similar to mine. When the knob arrived, I immediately busted out my vintage precision screwdriver set (thanks, Radio Shack!) and got to work. Turns out that this knob is indeed of significantly higher quality than the original knob due to its brass shaft, and its adjustable set screw ensures a snug fit for smooth operation. Looking forward to 14 more years of SB chili!

When I initially received the knob my first impression was that it may be too small. But when I attached it to my Crockpot, it was a perfect fit. Just what I needed! Won’t be using the needle nose pliers any longer to adjust the temperature. So happy.

I didn’t expect the knob to be so small. it’s about the size of a quarter and there is a set screw to hold it in place. Nothing like any of the knobs on my 5 various sized crockpots. It should work but I’m disappointed with it.

It fits a crockpot brand crock pot but….
The set screw and the corresponding line on the knob is on the wrong part of the screw. So the line that is supposed to match up with the temperature setting is on the bottom half of the knob instead of the top half where the settings are.The knob works turning it to each setting. Only if it was oriented correctly.

I have a 25+ year old Corning Ware slow cooker that I needed a new temp control knob for. The original knob melted off a couple of years ago, and I have been using a screwdriver to turn the temp control with. I ordered this one and it worked. It seems to be made a lot better than the knob that came with it. There was a tiny little screw I had to tighten, and now I don’t need the screwdriver anymore. So glad I finally found one that works for my slow cooker.
