The perfect OVEN (it’s not just for toast)
I’ve been using a small Rival toaster oven for years but have wanted to upgrade to something larger. I’ve had my eye on the Hamilton Beach EAsy Open oven for a while so when it went on sale during Prime Days I got it for half its original cost and took the plunge. I’ve been using this oven nearly daily for the last few months without complaint. It has exceeded my expectations completely and then some.I love the easy open door… I wasn’t sure how much clearance I would have under my counter but it’s just the right height so I can easily open and close the door.The control knobs are fantastic and easy to read… I didn’t want digital controls (my husband is completely in the dark when it comes to tech stuff) and these are so easy to use… very intuitive, plug it in and it basically explains itself… didn’t really even need the manual to figure out how it works.It cooks to accurate temperatures as well. Some reviews stated that the cook temps were off, but I have not found this to be the case and have used an oven thermometer to test the termperatures. Besides using it for toast, I’ve made cookies, frozen dinners, mini pizzas, and a whole slew of things I would normally use the oven for, but in small batches… not having to turn on my oven and preheat for 20 minutes to cook a small portion of something is not only a time saver but an electricity saver as well.Cleaning the inside of the glass can be a challenge if you have large hands… fortunately for me I have small enough hands that I can get under it with a cleaning cloth and wipe off any grunge.Another thing I LOVE is that the crumb tray is full-size… it covers the entire bottom of the oven and is easily removable from underneath the bottom rack. No having to pop open crumb trays (like my old oven and toaster) amid a shower of toast crumbs. This is really easy to clean.I do wish the provided tray was large enough to fit into the rack slots… why HB only made it wide enough to sit on top of the rack is a bit of a mystery.All in all, for $49, this is easily one of the best things I’ve purchased for the house in a long time and would gladly buy this again.

Great little oven so far
Love the door that pulls up over oven. Makes it easier to remove item from oven. Door handle is solid and well constructed onto door so it wonât come off or loosen. The oven and toaster functions work well as expected. Large oven so can fit large dish and frozen pizza. Heats quickly and toasting function is fairly quick.

I just plugged in this Hamilton Beach toaster/convection oven and I am VERY pleased! It is wider than my old toaster oven but I love the fact that it is only 9.5″ high. I live in an older manufactured home and this fits perfectly under my cabinets and the roll top door is an added convenience! I have only used it once, for baking and it was perfect. It pre-heats quickly and cooked my dinner very evenly (chicken, veggies). For anyone with a smaller kitchen, or smaller family (1 or 2) this is a great countertop oven.

Very noisy but works great
I bought another oven to replace one I had for like 10 years, but that one was digital, complicated and didn’t cook even at all. I returned it to Amazon. This one seemed like a great choice taking up a bit more space with the roll up door and great reviews.I will say, it cooks evenly and the roll up door is pretty awesome. The one thing I miss from my old one though was little hooks on the door that when opened would also pull the baking rack out. It was so much easier to get those hot items out. I didn’t have much luck finding another like that so the roll up door at least makes it easy to reach in to get items out. I still really miss that feature though.I really don’t want to return yet another oven to Amazon so I will stick it out with this one but will tell you the Convection over is SUPER loud. It sounds like it’s rattling and going to explode or break into pieces. If you pre-heat the oven for what seems a VERY long period, the Convection setting is tolerable, but still louder than any other toaster over I’ve had. So that is very disappointing.I am glad it cooks evenly even if just on the “bake” setting. It really doesn’t seem to make much difference on “bake” vs “convection” so that’s what I use. That said, I give it 3.5 stars. Because I’m comparing it to an older model that was quiet until the day it died, baked evenly and doesn’t have convenience features like the past model, my score drops. If this is your first toaster oven, well you might be amazed and give it 5 stars. Don’t expect to hear anyone talking to you from across the room while preparing things in the kitchen though if you are using the convection setting.. It’s just loud.

Best design ever
After years of the usual style with the drop down door, when I saw this, it made so much sense.With the drop down door, it’s constantly bombarded with bits of sticky food and oily stuff. It gets messy fast and needs constant attention. We’ve had this oven for over a year, and it still looks brand new. Really easy to clean, especially as the door hardly needs it. Spacious and works like a charm. The cord is too short, but that wouldn’t keep me from buying it again.

Our Prestige oven was quite good but a month ago it died. The element needs replacement I think. I used it as a dehydrator because it can hold temp at 60, but I guess it wasnât designed for that work.We need a replacement if the Prestige canât be repaired⦠we will carry it to the service center anyway.I was dilly dallying over this particular Hamilton Beach oven for the last month. It looked good in theory and reviews, but what if ?Would I get service ? Would it be what we actually want ?I honestly donât know because we got it this morning.I am sharing pictures of the item and contents.The packaging was good and everything arrived in good condition.The accessories were again carefully double packed. Someone has paid serious attention to the packaging system.This also leads me to believe the ownership experience will be equally good.Shall update after using.Sharing pictures also of the older oven for a size perspective. Also the front and side photos of the oven racks.HB in blue is the rack on the Hamilton Beach.The build quality of the oven and the accessories look and feel good too. No regrets there

Very good product. Making pizza is easy. Air fryer is also good. Frying chicken and fish was easy and tastes good. Itâs compact and the knobs are reliable. Itâs easy to clean. Overall itâs a nice product.

I already mentioned that itâs not an air fryer, itâs a good looking OTG, the problem arose with in few days of use that itâs also poor quality when the hinge broke.The customer support number does it take calls. There is a WhatsApp service. They keep asking for same details over and over but no resolution is done. Now finally, they have obliged with a pick up service but one is supposed to pack it nicely so that there is no damage during transit and if there is damage, the customer will pay for that repair too!So itâs a complete waste of some 7000/- bucks! Now I am wondering if I should go through the hassle of packing, printing and couriering the thing because I Amy be investing more money in a useless product.Final advice- DONOT BUY IT

While this works great as an OTG, I had mixed results using it as air fryer. Might be because it’s bigger and air fry option is not efficient. However, what ever gets done is quite satisfactory and meats are tasty. Getting the right elements heating or rather placing the food correctly inside is a rather tricky option.
