Mixed feelings
This measuring scoop has me on the fence; I’m going to keep using it for the time being until I find a better alternative, but there are drawbacks to it that I’ll explain. The pros are that it’s a self contained scoop that can be removed from the electronic handle for cleaning, which is easier for me than using bowls on a traditional kitchen scale, taring them out, etc. The con is that it’s only able to measure weight if it’s being held up, which can be a pain depending on what you’re measuring. For instance, I was weighing and portioning a pork roast, and had to break the pieces up with one hand, because putting the scoop down would mess up the weight and I’d have to refill it. Not a huge deal, and I can work around it, but it prolonged my process. I think this would probably work better with dry goods, but I’m low carbing so not super useful for my application.

I needed this product !With so many companies downsizing the weight of their products, I find myself having to weigh ingredients more and more to assure that my recipes will come out right. This is especially true when baking ! For example , raw eggs that used to be called â large â are not quite as big as they used to be. This is not good when baking cakes if one wants the cake to raise properly ! Also packages that were 16 ounce are many times 12 ounce now so it takes two packages and having to weigh out that extra 4 ounces so the recipe works . UghhSo, this digital measuring cup is already coming in handy for me. Iâve tested it out with water to see how accurate it is measuring fluid ounces. It was fine. I did notice that I to hold tool pretty steady to get that weight right on. I tested it with 1/4 cup of flour using the â cupâ measurement along with the ounces measurement . It was spot on.So Iâd say this product is going to be pretty accurate . Better than me guessing thatâs for sure !I feel like this product is well made . It comes apart for storage . The cup is easily separated and washable .The digital screen is pretty easy to read. Not bright , but readable .There are many weight options available , grams , ml , ounces, fluid ounces, and cups .Itâs easy to use .This tool is a welcome addition to my kitchen for sure .Decent price .Would recommend

Super handy kitchen gadget. Much more conevnient than a scale for small quantities.
I ordered this electronic measuring scoop for our kitchen. I really like that it takes a standard AAA battery. These batteries are inexpensive and easy to obtain almost anywhere. Of course you can use a rechargeable battery if you like. The size of this gadget is perfect. It is large enough to weigh and measure ingredients for almost any recipe without having to use a scale. It takes up a lot less counter space than a scale as well. It works well and changing units of measure is as easy as pressing a button. It’s not as easy to clean as I would have liked though. In order to clean it you must detach the cup to keep the electronics in the handle dry. Sadly, the cup detaches via a tiny little tab that is tucked away and hard to reach, so it is not easy to detach the cup. As a suggestion for product improvement, it should be much easier and more intuitive to detach the cup. Alternately, the electronics in the handle could be made completely waterproof. Four stars.

I like this handy little spoon scale . Seems to be accurate, can be set easily , just the number field , even though it is backlit a bit is hard to read for me without glasses. Especially the measurement setting.It measures grams, oz. and even ml. Itâs pretty easy to zero out too.One thing I should have paid better attention to is the battery. The scale handle takes a button cell battery, one is installed, one has only to pull out the plastic from the housing.I expect this battery to last a long time but I really wish I had paid attention. A simple AAA battery would have fit and I could use a rechargeable battery. There is a saving grace however, the scale measuring spoon goes into standby mode really fast.The spoon is marked as for both , human and animal food and liquid use and made out of food grade ABA.Overall the measure spoon has a bit of a cheap feel to it , but thatâs just my opinion .However, if you are actually looking to put your pet on a diet, this spoon would be your perfect helper to measure out a potion of dry or even wet food .Cleaning is easy because the handle with the electronics detaches and the scoop part is easily hand washable.P.S. I just want to say that itâs super easy to put the battery cover back and to get the handle on the spoon, I just didnât use a tripod for the video and held a tablet in my other hand .There is nothing wrong with the measurements.
