Iâm a simple guy. Just needed to get a new rice cooker to replace our old one. This one had a lot of options and honestly too many buttons for me. Everything works well and no issues. Just one minor thing I find annoying is that the top lid on the inside comes off from the suction when opening it while cooking rice. So itâs annoying trying to pry it off and try to stick it back to the little metal piece that holds it in place.

I am so glad I bought this hamilton beach cooker, I had been using an old crock pot and a separate rice cooker for years and then I saw this. I didn’t realize how I was actually losing out on the flavor of my foods and the stuck rice on my old cooker was so aggravating. After trying this wonderful counter top cooker I threw out both of my old items with great glee, no more scrubbing and scrubbing to get stuck food off of this one, within seconds its clean with ease. I encourage anyone who wants to have a easier time to buy one.

This rice cooker is great. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. The only thing I would change is the lid. The lid is set up for a left-handed person. Anyone that is right-handed has trouble with the lid being in the way while adding ingredients or stirring. The lid also gets in the way of the above cabinets. You can’t open it without having the cooker way up front on the counter. I would like to see the lid come off completely. It would make cooking with it easier for both left and right-handed people and cleaning would be easier. Other than the lid issue, I love using the rice cooker.

Waste of Money
Not as good as my old pressure cooker but it works well enough. I just dont like that the Sear and Saute modes dont seem to cook super fast, like the food doesnât even sizzle on those modes.Update: i used the sear function and it killed the cooker. I bought another one to replace the broken one and the same thing happened, saute mode overheated the unit and it died. I never had this issue with my other pressure cooker and now Iâm regretting getting rid of it for this. Do not recommend at all.
