I bought these hoping it would work well with large cans. They don’t. All three are weak and don’t cut straight. They don’t even cut small cans well.

Reason for purchasing was that all the can openers I previously had didn’t open large cans well. And not having tons of space I couldn’t get a big industrial size opener. But when I found this one, it was perfect. It opens the cans with ease, and even has a magnet attached to help you pull up the lid after opening it. Helping you to avoid cutting yourself trying lift the lid out with other brands. Not to mention the handle provides you a good grip making it easy to maneuver. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it sometimes skips a spot on the can requiring you to go back over that spot.

We usually shop at restaurant wholesale supply stores and buy products much cheaper. Many times we buy vegetables and sauces in the large #10 can (1 gallon) and opening them with a standard hand held can opener can be very difficult. Having these large commercial can openers allows us to open these cans with ease.They are large in size and have an oversized hand crank that allows you to open the can with just a handful of turns. It also has a bottle opener on the lower edge for your convenience. It is made of heavy duty steel with padded rubber handles.These work perfectly for the elderly or those with arthritic hands. It’s nice that you get 3 in a set as we keep one in our home, one in our cabin and one in our motorhome and they work perfectly. Everyone should have one.

Very flimsy, bent handles
NOT COMMERCIAL QUALITY!!! Not even suitable for weekly use. My 98lb employee opens 3 cans a day and she broke 3 of these in a week. The handles are such thin/weak metal that I can easily fold them over with my bare hands. That makes it impossible to keep the cutters aligned.

DEFECTIVE!
The cutter wheel on all three of these is too small and does not penetrate the can enough to cut. It just goes round and round the can, but you can’t get the can open. Do not buy because they do not work!
