3 of these replace standard 9.5â pie plate
This is my second order of these and I love them. As someone who enjoys gifting pies, I did not relish either using aluminum pie tins or kissing my standard pyrex pie plates goodbye each time (canât chase them all back). So, I now use these instead and they become part of the gift. Three of these generally hold one standard pie recipe and they perform in the oven just as their larger counterpart which is my ultimate goal- great heat conductivity and very sturdy.
Further, they wash up and freeze beautifully and I often use one (yes, I keep some for myself!) to reheat a large slice/hunk of a casserole or the like in the toaster oven or microwave. The size is ideal for 2 servings.
My first set (3) is at least 8 years in regular use and still like new so I highly recommend them, especially at this price (I definitely paid more for half as many last time).

one shattered
When we received that package all the pans were stacked on top of each other. There was nothing separating the three pans. The bottom one came off great, but the top two were stuck together, i needed help so asked my husband. Next thing we know glass is shattered everywhere! All he did was grab the two handles and pull and the top one shattered like he dropped it. The other two are perfectly fine and do i great job. I have never seen glass shatter like that from just pulling it apart with your hands and not touching anything else

Great loaf pans
I was a little unsure about how these would work for baking my sourdough bread. I was afraid that after baking, the bread would stick and I would have trouble getting the loaf out of the pan intact. I spread a thin coating of butter in the pan and then put the dough in to raise. I baked the bread and when it was done I, with apprehension, turned the pan over to release the cooked loafâ¦to my surprise it just fell right out on the rack in perfect condition..I am so happy. I also loved that I could see through the glass to monitor the stage of doneness. Very happy.

I have ordered x2 of these products now over a period of a few months and sent both of them back because they are faulty every time. They have glass defects of: crazing/indentations and blobs and appear as ‘seconds’. They are expensive to buy, but if they did not have these defects, then i wold be happy to buy this product because it is made of soda lime glass and that is what i am looking for. however, i cannot pay the high price asked for a faulty, defective product, so how can you arrange for this such product to be made available to me and without any DEFECTS?
