    Wife loves this pan!
She says it’s perhaps the best she’s used! She likes how nothing sticks to it, and the color is lighter so she can see when it’s 100% clean. Nice glass lid. Has a metal handle so can go in the oven at 400 degrees, which she does occasionally.Just be sure to NOT use cooking sprays on it – only oil or butter – as this will build up and cause it to stick. We’ve learned this with other non-stick pans, and most manufacturers are become more emphatic about stating no spray oils. (lecithin in spray oils causes build up)

UPDATED REVIEW-have much better luck with this pan while using butter, oil made food stick to this like crazy
UPDATE to below: first i wrote that I loved this pan (see below.) Then after a week, EVERYThING was sticking to the pan, really bad, worse than any other pan, and I was going to downgrade it to one star. I had been using canola oil btw, a fair amount of it, and I thought – what the heck, am I going to start having to waste a ton of oil on this thing? Very disappointed. To the point where I couldn’t stand cooking with it anymore bc everything was sticking to it like glue, so I ordered a different pan to use, which I wasn’t thrilled about because this one has a much larger cooking area, and I had just bought it and already it wasn’t working, right after I threw away the packaging of course. Then one day I tried something different. I heated up the pan on medium heat as always, before putting anything on it. Then after it got hot, I held a stick of butter vertically and just rubbed the cooking area of the pan with it – not too much butter, just coated the pan with butter lightly and quickly. VOILA. it’s like night and day, now everything is sliding around on the pan. so I’m happy – I can use very little butter and the food isn’t sliding around. So I’m wondering if all these people who had problems were using oil as I was (and as the instructions say you can do.) If you’re having problems with sticking, try butter instead and see if that works.original review below:i had tried out a few ceramic pans and returned them all. this is the KEEPER (so far – i’ve had it only for a few days but looking good!) why? well the thing is pans are measured by the TOP circumference of the pan, the part that fits the lid, which i think is colossally stupid. i tried out a few 12″ pans, this one has a 9 3/4″ – 10″ ish cooking area (the bottom circle of the pan, the part you cook on.) the other ones i tried had like 9″ or less on the bottom and the sides of the pan just jutted way out to reach the 12″ – so the cooking part was so small and i couldn’t fit much on the other ones. this has a good amount of cooking space and if HEFTY.unlike the other ones, you have to use oil, which i dont mind, oil is filling. u do cook on medium heat and things slide off effortlessly – not as slidy as the other ones ive tried, but i read in reviews the other ones stop being stick-free after a while. besides, too much slide can make the food hard to grasp. this has a great amount of food slide. i wish this came in cooler color but the grey is all right, better than black. cooking is actually fun bc i know i’m not going to have to scrub and clean much. i hate cleaning. i just made eggs with sausages and the pan ALREADY looks clean, and i didnt even clean it yet. the lid is high quality. this thing is just made of high quality materials, and my boyf and i love it. also our gas stove did not mess up the coloring on the bottom, like it did with other pans. LOVE THIS ONE, finally we found the keeper!!! i recommend wholeheartedly.

    Love these pans
I’ve been using this pan nearly every day for a couple of months now. It still looks brand new. A pressure cooker sits on it in storage. It could be cleaned with a paper towel, although I use soap and water. Nothing much sticks and even then no scrubbing is required. I love it, but I’ll pass on two problem issues. First, let’s say you’ve got a skillet full of something and you stir or try to break up something on one side of the pan. There is very little resistance. It is very easy to push something out of the other side of the pan if you’re not paying attention. Don’t tilt the pan. The food will slide quickly. It takes some getting used to. The other problem I can’t really explain the reason for. I find it’s easy to under estimate the heat of the pan. It’s a lighter color than the dark Teflon coating I had before. Not sure why, but if you do over cook something, you’ll still have an easy clean up. I’m used to the quirks by now. We have an African Gray parrot. It’s nice to know an over heated Teflon pan won’t poison her. I also got a similar 8 inch pan. Same great experience.

    so far, so good
I like this pan; it cleans so easily, heats so evenly, and is so lightweight! The only downside I see so far (after several weeks of almost daily use) is that there are scratches on the bottom from sliding it on my stove-top. (I have a gas range with cast iron grates.) I also have to remind myself not to tap the utensils on the edge of the pan; I don’t want to chip the ceramic surface. And, I love that the handle doesn’t get hot (unless put into the oven) and that I can put the skillet in the oven to bake/roast.

    Great gift!
I have Green Pans myself and got this one for my daughter who wanted a non stick pan. These pans are so easy to use, clean up well, work great on low hear. She loves it!

I really want to hate how nothing sticks to this pan, but I have to love it.
I didn’t want to do it. I didn’t want to buy a non-stick pan. I aim for traditional cooking methods on uncoated surfaces, and all my other cookware is stainless, cast iron, or glass. But it’s not the easiest feat in the world to make fried eggs that cook evenly and don’t stick, or to make crepes, which my man loves. So I checked out the materials used in all the non-teflon pans I could find, and landed on this one as being the most safe. Nothing sticks to it. I want to hate how much it resists things sticking to it, but the easy cleanup and the excellent presentation of my foods has me loving it instead. Scrambled eggs don’t stick. Burned cheese doesn’t stick. My weird ketogenic pancakes don’t stick. And from all my research, I’m pretty confident it isn’t leaking chemicals and carcinogens into our food. So…it’s become the most used pan in my kitchen. I’m looking at buying a couple of other sizes, too.

    not dishwasher safe
It does fine as a skillet, but not anything really out of the ordinary. What is out of the ordinary is that when I ran it through the dishwasher one time when I was in a hurry the outside finish came off. This, imo, is hugely sub-standard. I would avoid GreenPan in general. I need a product that performs (and it does), but also one that is durable enough to withstand a little thoughtless treatment – to run through the dishwasher occasionally without the finish coming off. I’ve never had any other brand of cookware show itself to be so far from durable.

At the beginning of use, the eggs did not burn in this frying pan. After 2 months of use, the food started to burn. I have never used a dishwasher, I washed the pan by hand. If it were a cheap frying pan, it wouldn’t be such a waste of money. I am disappointed.

Received mine very promptly, impressive and very good pan. I haven’t used it a lot yet, but I am sure it will stand up to many years of use. I bought this one because of the lid, as wanted a decent sized good pan that I could have a good lid with. I dislike the cheap pans with teflon or other poor or potentially poisonous non stick coverings, that simply do not last all that long before the surface starts to scratch or come away. I am very careful with this type of cookware and nver use metal on them, but it generally is only about a year steady use before the surface starts to degrade. I do not think this will happen with this new pan. It heats quickly and evenly and very easy to keep clean.

I was looking for a large frying that shipped with a matching glass lid, and was a quality-level above the standard household names, without being among the over-priced ‘prestige’ brands. The whole experience has been great. Totally works; fried eggs practically float (I can literally blow on them to make them move). I like the ostensibly healthier materials, and the overall refined, sleek design sensibility. Great! Note: There are some directions included on how to maintain a non-stick pan for a long life; I really appreciated that, and am following it!
