Nice pan and lid for a low cost 10/8 SS. Note that the top of the pan is not flared, so the lid only fits this pan, not, say a tramontina with flared edges. Packaging was very good and delivery was fast. It’s a good pan+lid for the $$.

The pan has a lustrous brushed steel finish; with proper care, it should stay that way.Not only do I find the seamless shape of the pan to my liking, but itâs a shape that is ideal for flipping and turning food without the need of a spatula. While cooking, the handle remains cool to the touch and has a length that makes the pan controllable and easy to handle. Both the lid and the pan have a real density, a feel of solid weight in the hand, even more so than our Viking Cookware. Also, 8â is a fairly common diameter, so the lid fits other pans/pots we own.I took a look at the Lolykitch Amazon Store and they have an assortment of pot/pan sizes, including sets. Theyâre âhybrid patternedâ PFOE-free non-stick pans are attractive and attractively priced.

I tried the enameled skillets, and they work for about six months, but then the surface is damaged and foods start to stick, and you’re not supposed to use harsh scouring pads to get them clean. I usually end up throwing them out then. I’ve tried cast iron skillets, and I really love them, but they are too heavy for me now. My hands are weak and I struggle to lift even the smallest iron skillet that is only big enough for two eggs.So I read the instructions carefully when I got this skillet. It’s triple layers – steel, copper, steel. Copper is a great conduction and is often sandwiched between other metals for cookware. It heats up fast and transfers that heat. But it’s soft and malleable, so you seldom find copper cookware. Stainless steel is solid and sturdy! Creating steel coated copper pots blends the best of both metals.The instructions say to never cook over high heat. That might have been a lot of my problem. I always cook over high heat. Medium takes too long! A large pot of water on medium is never going to boil! (I cook for a family of ten. Everything I cook is “large size.”) But I tried cooking hamburgers last night over medium heat, and nothing stuck to the bottom of the large skillets I already own. Cool! It’s worth it to take longer to cook if cleaning the skillet is easier!I made grilled cheese sandwich in my new skillet today. It warmed up nicely, and washing it was a breeze. The real test will be when I try to fry eggs tomorrow. I expect it to be just fine. I’ll update this review if the skillet fails.Otherwise, the skillet is smooth and shiny. I love the clear glass lid. I love the quality of craftsmanship that went into making the skillet. I am grateful for the “how to” instructions to use the skillet without burning foods onto it. And I would buy from this company again, and recommend it to my friends.
