Nice set of short tongs. Have heft to them and are thicker at the gripper than my last pair which have just plain worn out as I use tongs multiple times daily. These have taken a little time to get used to as they are heavier than my worn-out pair. They lock nicely and pick food up without a problem.I do not need five tongs in the kitchen, so have laid aside a couple for gifts and use one as a tiny grabber when I cannot quite reach something from my recliner….such as a dropped piece of paper or tissue.Yes, I recommend this set of tongs.
