My new favorite
Attractive piece. Good size, easy cleaning, easy to use. Use daily. Soups, stews, bacon, eggs, burgers, roast, beans and more. Heats quickly, browns beautifully. Multiple heat modes ie simmer, rice, stir fry and more. One pot cooking. I’ve used at parties. My only request is it be made with a secure lock down lid for transporting food. This has become the workhorse in my kitchen.

Great
Love this cooker. I did chicken legs on the slow cook method and they were done in 2 hours. Really easy to clean.

So easy to clean, cooks evenly
I love the even cooking, over a surface much larger than a typical burner. It heats fast, and cooks so evenly I think the food is done sooner. So, so easy to clean, like my other GreenPans. Love it!

Disappointed
It stopped working after only a month of using it. The light would come on but would not heat up.

Not your typical slow-cooker..
I just got this so it is hard to say. So far so good. Looks nice. Interesting shape makes it especially versatile. I think it is the perfect depth for making rice. You could make like A LOT with this if thatâs your intention. I guess the star off is because I was really looking for a slow-cooker and somehow during that search this came up.I thought it looked great, read reviews. And it can do slow cooking kind of, but what worries me is the shallowness, I wonder how true slow-cooker recipes will translate with that? Also the size is pretty small for a slow cooker for me. Iâm not returning it.. yet, but it will stand to be seen whether this can really claim to be a slow-cooker, or not.**Been using a few weeks works now, great.Even cooking. I have only used as I would a sauté pot. I have not tried to cook grains, slow cook etc. It works well for steaming. Easy and fast. I got this to replace several pots and pans I was tired of cleaning. Now I just have one to clean. It doesnât appear to get as hot as my stovetop. The inner pit is a bit unwieldy with its little legs and electronic components. It is heavy. I have not put in the dishwasher yet. The edges sometimes get bumped and have chipped a little.Hoping this doesnât happen to the cooking surface. Smelled awful the first time or two it was on high heat. I donât think I wiped the inner pot enough. Eventually it went away.To cut down clutter I feel like this was a good purchase. I still use a pot on the stove for pasta. Will have to see how the grain function works..

The One newer gadget worth getting
This thing will do real cooking, of real food, very easily. You need to want to cook, in the first place, not just heat pre-prepared junk or pretend you’re trying when you’re avoiding, but if you want to cook in your own home, this is maybe the easiest way to do it. It will replace almost anything else, it’s easy to use, store and clean. Between the Mrs. and me, we’ve been cooking for nearly a century. I still use cast iron from the early 1900s, and also the latest in electric woks, and we spared no expense in equipment. If I were to advise folks who are wanting to start from scratch, this would be the first item I’d suggest.

After 3 Uses – LOVE this pan!
This is an early review, but so far…I LOVE this pan. Yesterday I cooked smothered potatoes w/onions and peppers, as well as stir fry broccoli and a ground beef patty. Today I did a one pot beef stroganoff. So far, I REALLY like it. It is challenging for me to understand what temperatures I should set it for my regular stove top recipes. That will take time. Also, because the pan is so deep, I did burn my arms a couple of times. That is not the fault of the product, just me not used to cooking these types of dishes is such a deep pan. It will take me time to completely figure it all out before I hit the road with it in my RV. So far…GREAT!
