Best thing to slice bread witg
This knife is sturdy! I love the double edge cutting blade as we have both left and right handed people in our family. Easy to use, cleans up well. Love the wooden handle and how well it cuts sourdough bread! Price is great, especially because you get replacement blades with it!

I’m not gonna pretend its looking like some medieval weapon wasn’t part of the appeal lol…but upon using it a few times I honestly don’t know how I ever cut bread any other way.I have a pretty spenny Wusthof bread knife that I received as a part of a set when I got married, & while it’s perfectly serviceable it was NEVER this easy to use. That old ‘like a hot knife thru butter!” late night Ginsu infomercial line, well it applies here, BIG time.Due to the size of the serration, the first couple back-&-forth slices can sometimes be a little jaggedy-feeling, but once it gets bit in properly it literally like almost floats thru the rest of the cut. It takes almost no effort whatsoever, AND the slices are *CLEAN*. There’s not big piles of crumbs left behind or chunks taken out, the slices look as tho they were done by a machine in the bread-slicing factory.One caveat: IT IS SHARP. Of *course* I’ve already cut myself, how could you imagine otherwise?? Actually I didn’t so much ‘cut’ myself as kinda banged the knife into the chubby under-index-finger area. So I more like, stabbed myself with it. The whole area is bruised, so it went in deeply enough to cause internal bleeding. They should have continued the medieval theme & included some chainmail gloves lol.
