I honestly never thought I would spend this kind of money on a toaster, but I do not regret this purchase at all. I love Star Wars and R2D2 is my favorite. It looks great on the counter. It’s fun to use. It has toasted bread and bagels with ease.

Attractive to the right audience
I ordered this for my adult son who is a dungeon master. It works well and itâs quite the conversation piece. He is currently trying to figure out how to work toast into their next session.:)Note that it does take up a bit more space than a regular toaster, but sometimes style outweighs practicality.

A bit over priced but fun
If youâre a fan of Star Wars, itâs worth it. It does a good job of toasting, and the lights and sounds are fun. I just suggest running it empty the first time you use it to burn off any coatings or oils left behind from the manufacturing process. I also kinda wish it would do the R2D2 scream when itâs finished toasting instead of the same beeps again.

Disappointing and overpriced
I had high hopes for this R2-D2 toaster, especially being a Star Wars fan, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. First off, the toaster is very slow and takes longer than expected to toast bread, even on the highest setting. The lights and sounds are a fun touch, but theyâre honestly more gimmicky than practical. The sound is pretty muffled, and the lights are too bright for early mornings when you just want to make breakfast. The build quality feels cheap, and the toasting performance just isnât greatâuneven browning and it doesnât toast well at all. Overall, itâs more of a novelty item than a functional toaster. Definitely not worth the price.

Our whole family loves this toaster. From the R2D2 sounds it makes, plus it also makes a sound a few seconds before it pops the toast up. It toasts much better than the B&D we had before.
