Outstanding budget set of knives. This is the perfect set to give to your college kids on their way to college. They are sharp enough and are priced right. I would say I would keep them just for things like keeping one in the tackle box since there is a cover to gut fish.

Very Nice Budget Set of Knives
First thing to know is I am NOT an expert on knives in any way so this review is as a total layman on the topic, but, I like these knives. They are very sharp right out of the box and feel very good in the hand. For the price they are excellent. I do have some concerns long term however, but for the price I dont see how a person can go wrong.The handles are plastic and feel a bit boxy, but to me in a good way. They fit my hand well and have just a good positive feel when using them. The plastic has a small amount of grittiness or texture of some sort, but not really. Just a very mild sort of not quite smooth that ads to the hand feel for me. I like it with a budget knife like this. Totally smooth would not be good, would not give a positive grip feel the way this does. Im not describing it as well as I would like but thats the best I can do.My one concern is the super sharp blades feel a bit thin. They have a small amount of flex to them none of my other knives have. Not much, just a tiny bit. It makes me wonder how long they will hold their edge and how well they can be resharpened when the time comes someday?Excellent value. Nice knives. Very affordable.

This set of knives is great. I am so glad they have sheaths because they are really sharp! I found out the hard way! These knives will be put to very good use every day. I love them!

Great Kitchen Knife Starter Set
This set of 3 kitchen knives is a good starter set. There are 3 different sizes, each one designed for a different prep task. The handles and blade sheaths match (orange/red/baby blue) and the blades are a high grade stainless steel. (Many knives of this type have a colored coating over the blade to assist in keeping it clean but I, personally, prefer that my knives look like real knives…so this is much better IMO).It is possible to sharpen the blades as needed with a kitchen sharpener. The sheaths are designed to keep the knives safe in a drawer, preventing damage to them and injury to any human who reaches into the drawer without looking carefully. The listing states they are dishwasher safe but knives, in general, need to be hand-washed so if you want to maintain longevity, I’d hand wash them.The set came packaged minimally with each knife attached to a piece of thin cardboard with a zip tie. The cardboard slid into a thin white box that fit the set perfectly. However, this is not designed to prevent damage, nor did it give any information about the contents and thus, is not suitable for gifting, as is. The price currently is only $10 for 3 new knives, so that’s a real plus.
