Functional for the cost
The sharpener works, that is the good thing. It takes some effort to have a knife sharpen, that is the bad thing. It will not last long, I expect, but for the time being it is functional. The hook sharpener is nothing more than tape on a pole.

Best Sharpener I have ever purchased
This sharpener just plain works, even with the toughest steel (Buck 119) it only too 5-10 strokes through each stage, then a strop finish to get a true shaving sharp razor edge on every knife I have run through it. The Carbide first (Coarse) stage is extremely coarse and if the knife is in rough shape you will see metal shavings come off. For some this is unacceptable, for me I was happy to see it had the capability to grind out abused edges and put a straight clean base down. This also works EXCELLENTLY sharpening the Razor Lite EDC removable blade knives from Outdoor Edge (The main reason I purchased it) forgoing the need to constantly swap out blades, or purchase new. They can be re-sharpened!I am buying two more one for home and one for my wife’s backpack.

Purchased for sharpening knives in kitchen or camping or other places.Pros:Small, portable.Has useful graduated sharpening grooves.Relatively stable if opened and placed on surface properly.Has fish hook sharpener.Sharpens knives as hoped.Cons:Since small, can move if not careful when sharpening knife.Not sure how long the sharpening “stones” will last.Not for serrated knives.All in all, a good, compact, portable knife sharpener. Would buy again.
