Convienent! Works great!
I bought this a little while back and finally got the chance to you it! It works great! Doesn’t take up too much room in luggage and is the perfect hot water solution. You can never be too sure how clean the various coffee makers at hotels are, and the water always tastes a little off. The same goes for using the microwave to heat water. Haven’t used it long term yet, but highly recommend so far.

This electric kettle was an absolute lifesaver during our New York trip! The hotel didnât provide a kettle, so having this on hand saved us from venturing out first thing in the morning just to grab a warm drink. Itâs a bit on the bulky side, but that turned out to be a plus for us since it perfectly handled enough hot water for three people.The kettle heats up quickly, which is a huge convenience when you need coffee or tea right away. Just keep in mind that this is a corded kettle, so youâll need an outlet nearby. The only downside is that it doesnât automatically shut off and will continue boiling if left unattended, so youâll need to monitor it.Overall, itâs reliable, efficient, and made our mornings so much easier. I really like this
I bought this for traveling, to heat water in the morning for coffee and to make oatmeal for hotel breakfast. Water came to a boil in under 5 minutes. You can switch to keep warm and use it as a mini hot pot. It comes with a travel bag. At first use it was wobbly on the base because it is so light, but is stable when filled with water. I think I will be using this a lot.

Major design flaw to have rubber on lid
The lid is lined with rubber (presumably to seal the builder better). However, steam during heating can easily touch the rubber and potentially cause rubber material to drop into the boiled water. Obviously rubber is healthy to drink or consume. The design should only allow stainless steel to be in touch with water, to be safe.

In an age of conspiracy theories, I always wonder if competing sellers don’t leave negative reviews for one another when they are selling what is essentially the exact same, Chinese made product. You know what I’m talking about? Where even the stock images are identical, with the same model of product and same human model showing it off… Is there an advantage to flooding a competitor with fake negative reviews in their spare time?For example, look at the pic I posted. One review I read said the top cover was “runner” and how intense steam would cause micro pieces of rubber to fall into your water/soup/whatever…. Well, the darn exterior is rubber but you can clearly see a metal plate that prevents exactly what that review claimed. Now there IS what seems to be a silicone gasket around the edge that helps seal the contact between the top and the kettle. But silicone is not rubber, nor does it seem to me the steam comes into contact where this would be a concern about foreign particles contaminating your food.This thing is exactly as advertised. I just boiled some water for tea and it took just shy of 4mins to get a rolling boil (I know, probably too hot for tea, but you get the point). What I like best is the chord rolls up into the cavity of the base, then the base and be out inisde the kettle itself for packing/travel. The handles fold around the kettle.I have a Jet Boil that I’ve used for camping and I’ve used for travel (minor coffee snob who hates the “free” hotel coffee maker). I just never felt comfortable with an open flame in a hotel room, let alone traveling with canisters for fuel, so I got this to replace that for travel. I’ll keep the Jet Boil for camping. Starbucks instant coffee, tea, packet of instant oatmeal whole traveling, good ol Top Ramen whenever… I’m set. 10 mins into owning it, and I’m happy I bought it.This unit also has a constant heating option as well that I haven’t played with and may never need.

This is a very well made kettle, you are able to use the kettle itself as a bowl. It’s decent sized, as of using a cereal bowl. Would buy again, very useful for going out into nature.
