This type of packaging is always hard to open but I suppose it’s intentional. The rounded tip and heel make it as safe as a knife can be and the serrated edge makes it so that you don’t have to use a ton of downward force to cut things. A dull knife that requires a lot of “push” is how cutting accidents happen! It’s great to have a Chef’s knife to continue our 7 yo’s love of cooking. People often overuse paring knives but once you go Chef, you don’t go back… and you usually want the 10″ vs the 8″!

I bought this for my son who has always loved cooking! Heâs old enough to start getting in the kitchen more and fix things for himself. This knife is the perfect size for him and cuts well. It even came in his favorite color (red)! He loves having his own special knife to use! And I like that itâs more of an appropriate size for him.

Good starter knife
Ordered this for my 9yo. We like the color and design. The cover is nice to have as it will be in a drawer. For safety, the tip is blunt (round). Easy to grip. Over all a very good tool for a kid.

This is great for beginner chefs. The serrated teeth make for easy cutting, with reduced chances of having an accident and cutting yourself. Great for slicing Bagels also.
