    Made my cheesecake look professional
When I got my Instant Pot, one of the first things I wanted to make was a cheesecake. I had originally bought an accessory kit here on Amazon but the spring from pan that came with the kit was very thin and I knew it wouldn’t be tall enough to make the cheesecake that I wanted. I searched around and saw this one and figured I would give it a try.I knew the pan was made of silicone but still I thought I might have made a mistake since it dawned on me after I pulled it from the box that the sides would not be stiff and I was concerned that it would not work that well. Since I was having a hard time finding a spring from pan that was tall enough to make what I wanted – I decided to use it and see what happened. This thing worked flawlessly. Since I was making a cheesecake, I cut a circle in my wax paper and placed it in the bottom of the pan and then greased the sides of the pan. I then made the crust and filling and was pleased that it all fit into the pan. I used a lid from a different Instant Pot pan and it fit perfectly on top of this spring from pan (the lid not only prevented moisture from getting into the cake but it also helped keep the silicone sides in a circle shape). I had to be careful when I put the pan into the pot and removed it from the pot but the true magic was when I went to get the cake out of the pan. I just peeled the sides right off the cake and it left a beautiful finish. Even though the glass bottom was made to act as a serving plate, I went ahead and removed mine (which is why I used the wax paper) and it slid right off. I attached a picture of the cheesecake I made with this pan.I read several reviews that mentioned the closure area would leak because it wouldn’t close all the way. I haven’t had this problem. I wash this in the dishwasher and as soon as the dishwasher is finished, I will pull out the glass base, the silicone sides, and the closure and use a paper towel to remove any water left on the items and while the pieces are still warm, I will put it together. It goes back together easily and has no gaps. Maybe because I put it back together while the pan is fresh from the dishwasher? I have made several cheesecakes with this pan and it has delivered for me what I wanted. This was a great purchase for me.

A Mandatory Item for IP Cheesecake Makers
This is a spectacular invention. I wouldn’t be making cheesecakes without it. Very good quality, easy to use, easy to clean, very non-stick, etc. However, if someone uses it for very watery cakes or other recipes, watery liquids will escape. I only had a tiny bit of watery-butter escape through mine. That might occur with any style of holder.Great high-quality product. Nice design.

    This springform pan is great!
This works great! I used it this past weekend to make a cheesecake. I didn’t have any parchment so I did spray it with nonstick spray but I don’t think that’s even necessary except maybe on the bottom piece. At any rate, the bottom is very sturdy, the silicone sides do exactly what they’re supposed to, the clip that holds the sides together works perfectly and is easy to put on and remove but setting enough to keep everything in place. I have a 6-quart instant pot and this fit perfectly. 1 cup of water in the pot, then the steam rack, then the silicone springform pan. Cooked my cheesecake perfectly and it makes a really nice sized cake for 2 or even 4 people. I highly recommend this very affordable pan!

Nice, though it can need a foil or parchment liner
This spring form pan is the right size, easy to clean, and the silicon ring makes food easy to remove. However, please note that it is not completely water-tight, and most recipes will tell you to line the spring form pan with foil or withparchment baking paper, and they are right. I didn’t cut out my foil quite big enough, and part of the liquid did leak onto the glass bottom, and a little bit leaked through to the instant pot’s removable liner pan. Overall, however, I am pleased with this spring form pan.

Love my silicone springform cake pan!
I do not make many cakes at all I bought it to make lasagna and egg bake type dishes and it works superbly! I was a little leery due to the reviews stating that it leaked and took getting used to. Yes I will agree you need to practice with it a bit. The latch is a little tricky. After you use it once and wash it, it seems misshapen. Stretch the silicone around the glass base while it is still warm after washing, slide the connector in place and you will notice after a little time the silicone shapes around the glass as it should. After the cooked dish cools a bit and sets, the silicone releases beautifully. I do place it in a baking dish (to avoid dripping) in the oven at 400-425 degrees after cooking to brown it up a bit. Love it!

Good spring form cake pan, though it can leak
Overall the Instant Pot Silicone Springform Cake Pan is very useful and works as advertised. The silicone is very easy to clean. The main problem is that the seal on the edge (see pictures) creates a small gap where some cake batter leaks out, though not much leaks out. It is difficult to remove from the Instant Pot.

    Works perfectly
My first time to make cheese cake with this device. In other reviews I have read, some had difficulty putting the silicon ring back around the glass plate, difficulty putting the clip on, or the clip slipping out after pulling the pan out of the Instant Pot. Maybe I had a good manufacturing batch as I didn’t experience any of those issues. Or perhaps as time goes on, one or more of these issues will come up. Will update this if that happens. But for now, am happy with this silicon pan.I lined the sides of the silicon and the glass bottom with coconut oil, put my crust in and poured the filling. The coconut oil was to make sure the cake didn’t stick to the silicon nor the bottom. From my experience, it wasn’t necessary to oil the sides. For the glass bottom I would put wax paper. I had to carefully cut through the glass bottom and the crust to get the cake off using a cake cutter. I guess most would just leave the glass bottom until the cake is consumed.Overall, very good kitchen implement for making cakes with your Instant Pot.

    Nah
I was excited about this, but it’s annoying and hard to use. The sides flop around a lot and the plastic clip comes off to easily. Not very good quality

And I’m an avid baker with a special love for cheesecake. In my quest for the perfect cheesecake I have tried to find the perfect spring form pan and have tried many: from cheap to stupidly expensive ones over the years. The shortcoming that those all have are that they leak, get rusty, the bottom is hard to put in, and clamp can be challenging… I hate them. But this pan and rave reviews about instapot cheesecakes is what sold me on buying an instapot and this pan, and I am not disappointed. Actually I’m laughing as This technically makes it the most I’ve ever spent on a pan for cheesecake! Lol, I would not have bought the Insta pot if not for my love and quest for perfect cheesecake! This pan is so easy to use. I love the glass bottom it’s really nice to serve off as well and you don’t have to worry about scratching a non-stick coating that’ll end up rusting. The silicone sides mean easy release and not have to worry about making parchment paper rings Etc, it’s also lightweight and super easy to transport. Took cheesecake to Christmas dinner and everybody was floored. Even people who didn’t like cheesecake loved the cheesecake. Found a great recipe on this website that’s dedicated to all things instapot call Jack and Amy. I love these guys, they’ve done so much hard work demystifying the pressure cooker and giving, solid easy-to-follow recipes.Enjoy your instapot, this would even work in an oven, but most importantly enjoy your cheesecake! Life is too short, eat cheesecake!

In altri modi devo ancora provarlo.
