I was afraid it wouldn’t fit my old Samsung microwave, but as described by the seller it fits like a glove. Very easy to install, only had to unscrew 2 screws slide the grille and ready to install.The quality is good and let’s see the performance after some use.

We weren’t sure that these were going to work and our microwave. All of a sudden had a filter. Replace notification on it. So I hurried up on to amazon and ordered these, and they work amazingly. They fit just fine and are microwave is a brand new one. And less than a year old, and it worked just fine. I have not gotten a notification to replace so far, so I believe it tells us to replace when it either senses. It is dirty or maybe every six months. Good deal works fine. Ordering these is his way better than frantically. Looking for these in our local stores, thank you.

Fits GE Model JNM7196SK1SS
Dimensions are 8 3/4″ x 3 7/8″ x 3/8″. My GE manual erroneously pointed me to filter JX81J which is the wrong size filter for this microwave. Model JNM7196SK1SS actually takes this filter (JX81H or WB02X10956). This filter that was sent to me actually has metal grills on both sides with a charcoal filter sandwiched in between the frame. The original part that came with the microwave has one side charcoal filter and one side metal grill. Anyway, this fits. I agree with the one reviewer – you can see right through the charcoal filter. That’s why they probably had to use metal on each side – otherwise it would disintegrate. Not sure I’ve found a better alternative for this price. See photos comparing this filter with the original GE part.

Our over the range microwave would randomly lose power when cooking. Then 15-20 minutes later the power would come on again. We thought we had to replace it but a little google search suggested this filter might be the issue. You have to remove a few screws and a panel from the front to find where the filter goes. We put the new filter in and the microwave is as good as new again.
