Cute and Functional
I love Barry, heâs cute and functional. His round, little tummy makes for a great hand hold. Heâs got rubbery feet for nice stability. I like how the grater part remains in place so whatever youâre grating doesnât spill out. Cleaning is super easy and putting Barry back together again is easy peasy. He may be small, but heâs ideal for small jobs or single folks.

Barry needs to be supersized
I just tried to grate half an onion for homemade chicken salad. Had a hard time holding his little carcass down but he got the job done. I opened him up to check on progress and had another hard time getting the grater back on correctly, even with no onion obstructing the channel thingie that the grater clicks into.So, heâs just SO cute sitting on my backsplash, but his functionality could be greatly improved. He really needs to be supersized and have better way to click the grater back on especially when you are using it. I will try him again with a few more vegetables and see how he does.Yes I would buy again as a gift for a cook.
