Great little pan for baking!
This review is for the Oster Teston 9 Inch x 5 Inch Nonstick Carbon Steel Loaf Pan.You really cannot go wrong with anything Oster Teston. They are a great brand and this little loaf pan fits in exactly with the brand.It’s a lightweight pan, but still very sturdy. There are two good sized handles for easy pick up even while wearing oven mitts. And the rolled edges help so it doesn’t warp while in the oven. I believe it to be pretty nonstick, but I did use spray oil too, because you can never be too sure!At its price, this loaf pan is an absolute steal!

Great Loaf Pan
I made meatloaf in this pan, it did not stick to the pan, the pan was easy to clean & the meatloaf was delicious!! Highly recommend this loaf pan.

Nonstick coating safety is questionable
When I saw this was carbon steel, I thought that perhaps the nonstick was more of a vegetable-based seasoning that you see on other carbon steel and cast iron cookware. No such luck. Although it says made without PFAS, PFOA and PTFE, I called contacted Oster to find out what the coating was made from. They couldn’t tell me, but they said it was “like Teflon”…which is PTFE. No thanks.

Solid yet lightweight.
I have two uses for loaf pans: meatloaf and banana bread. This worked great with both. I don’t think I’ve ever had a carbon steel pan before but it works well in terms of things not sticking and it’s very lightweight but also solid. It is not, however, dishwasher safe, so make sure that’s not a dealbreaker for you.This pan is really well priced at 9.99.

Super sturdy and slick
I love this loaf pan so much, itâs got nice thick edges and has a solid build. It claims to be non-stick, but I always still use a little butter and flour. My zucchini bread released even better than my aluminum pans, in a side-be-side test. (Made two loaves at once.)Must hand wash. I have a few carbon steel pans and they say they should be lightly oiled now and again so I think Iâll do the same for this one. (Although itâs not required.)Love the color too!

Works well!
Lightweight but durable; this pan was perfect for my cranberry orange bread! Cooked evenly, and cooled faster than my glass bread pans. Also very easy to clean. Love it!
