Very Handy Device
This slicing guide for bread works very well. I also wear at cut-resistant glove on the hand I use to steady the loaf. The guide makes nice even slices.

I’m so happy with this product. It made it so easy to cut even slices! My crust was a bit tough though and I now have cut marks in the cutting board ð¬. Bummer! So maybe be more gentle? I love the packaging and how it stores neatly in a drawer. Good for the price and does what it’s designed for. Only wish the cutting board was more durable, I can see myself needing a replacement after awhile.

This item is an awkward length. Just too long for my bread knife in terms of width, but too narrow for certain shape loaves. Overall would rather just eyeball my cuts. I do see potential, but just not for me.

LONG STORY SHORT:Bamboo sounds good, but this product feels cheap. Doesn’t work well with too thick of a bread knife. Broke easily when I was trying to cut a homemade sourdough with a thick crust. The cons outweigh the pros.CONS:-I bought it for slicing sourdough, which has a relatively thick crust. One of the times I was cutting a slice of bread, one of the dividers broke easily due to the friction of the knife against it.-The divider is too thick, to make that first slice even with the rest. No matter where you put the divider, if you press the bread against it, the first slice is going to be thinner than the subsequent slices. I ended up abandoning it while cutting, and simply putting the knife down a slot, sliding the bread over to the knife, holding the bread, and then moving one slot over.-You really need a pretty long knife to be able to slice back and forth and actually stay within the two guides while cutting.-Long knives like that are generally a little thicker, and therefore get stuck easily.PROS:-The bottom is made of a nice thick cutting board material-Folds flatCONCLUSION:I’m going to continue using this in the way that makes the most sense, until it breaks and becomes unusable. Then I’m going to buy something different.

Low Quality
I purchased this bread slicer because it had different-sized fingers and allowed for variety when cutting bread. However, when I got the first one, several of the fingers were warped to the point of being unable to get a knife between them. I understand that in manufacturing products, there is a high likelihood that some of them will have defects, so I decided to give it another chance and exchanged that for a new one. After receiving the second one, it also had warped/defective fingers, though they were not as severe as the first one. However, the edges and space between the fingers were extremely rough and splintering, even though “No Splinters” is this product’s title. I cannot recommend this item after receiving two defective bread slicers.

Very made made-you can cut different size slices uniformly. Make sure you have a good bread knife.
