Perfect container for making cold brew
I ordered the 64oz jar. It is the perfect size for two coffee drinkers for a couple of mornings. The glass jar is sturdy and well marked, the lid closes tight and opens easily to pour, the fine mesh filter is easy to use, to clean and brews very well. As someone else commented, it would be nice if it came with instructions but those are easily found on the internet. I am quite happy with this cold brew jar and would not hesitate to purchase it again if needed.

Excellent Size and Easy To Pour
I’ve been brewing coffee in a smaller Ball jar for a couple years now but converted other members of my household to break the big coffee habit so I was looking for an option that lets me brew bigger batches. I added 8 scoops of course ground coffee to the metal filter and filled with cold filtered water. I let it seep in the refrigerator for 48 hours and got a strong but super smooth cold brew coffee. The bottle itself is interchangble with large Ball jars so I can set up an easy cycle of always brewing in one and having finished coffee in the other. The handle makes pouring easy and I am pleased with the quality of the jar and the metal filter. And best of all it basically pays for itself in just one or two visits to a big coffee chain or even a couple bottles of cold brew at the grocery store that have gotten crazy expensive! Can’t think of any reason not to go this route!

Simple and Works
When looking into a cold brew product I was amazed at some very involved and complex products out there. This isnât one of them. Itâs simple. Itâs durable. It works just fine. Itâs a 2 quart mason jar with a strainer and lid. Thatâs it and thatâs all you need. Even came with a cleaning brush that is flimsy but it works. Iâve only had it a few months but I see no flaws that would result in causing long term problems. The lid works well as a pour spout or simply a lid. I chose the 2 quart size since I drink a lot of coffee, if you donât drink that much volume, maybe a 1 quart size would be better. I now much prefer cold brew and only drink regular hot coffee when itâs super cold outside. One tip, your grounds must be coarse.

I really love this Cold Brew Coffee Maker. I started getting into cold brew coffee but buying it pre made in the store gets very expensive. When buying the right kind of Cold Brew coffee grounds this is so much less expensive and it tastes the same! I love it!

I think I got a defective one
***change from three stars to one. the seal around the top, on the lid, must not be the correct rubber piece because it’s been SO MUCH worse when it comes to the spilling. and not only that but the latch on the top, that closes the top, does not close all the way. it doesn’t snap into place. I THINK I got a defective item, so if I was you I’d try it and see if you have the same issue or not! WOULD return if I could!*****I think this product is great for it’s value, but I think because it’s a bit cheaper some of the parts aren’t well made. for example, the seal on the lid doesn’t actually keep the liquid from spilling while I’m pouring out the coffee. it like runs down the side of it or if I go to shake up the coffee inside it, it spills out.that is my ONLY complaint about this product. it just wasn’t enough for me to want to return it!
