From cutting bagels to french bread or home baked this knife is long enough to get the job done and slices thru bread like it’s not even there. It is on the lighter side for my tastes but it is a full tang that feels comfortable in your hand and does the job. I would buy this again.

This is the knife I didnât know I needed. When it arrived and I saw how big it is, I thought Iâd made a mistake. Then I tried it and I was SOLD. The knife is very sharp and the length actually is a help. I can slice through a loaf without a hesitation and the knife cuts through both sides at the same time, even a large loaf. I also used it to slice cake layers in half. The sharpness of the knife slipped through like butter and there is no sawing back and forth! The knife is big and my hands are small but I felt very confident using it. This is an excellent buy. It would be a great gift too!

This knife is amazing.
Seriously, this knife is so freakin sharp, and it’s shape is a massive improvement over the serrated breadknife that came in our wedding set. Because it curves upwards in the middle, it is SO SIMPLE to cut through that thick bottom crust on a rustic loaf. The blade also has a very very thin bevel that extends nearly the full length of the blade. This keeps the blade thin for as long as possible while cutting through bread and prevents that smashing effect present in a lot of thicker knives.This is my favorite knife I’ve ever used. I’m not making that up. I’ve already recommended this to my folks as my father was very impressed when I showed it off to him.As another reviewer mentioned, it is an impressively long and the curve makes the overall depth deeper than most knives and so it cannot take the position of the old bread knife in the knife block as it does not fit. I’ll need to find another storage solution for this or find a new knife block, but for me that’s a small consequence of having a knife that cuts bread like butter.
