GREAT, especially with bowls of salad, pop corn and similar items & does exactly as described.
My wife saw a review of the Snapi on “Freakin’ Reviews” and was immediately sold. This great little gadget is far superior to using salad tongs. In fact, you could pick up almost an entire large load of sald that was laid out in a salad bowl for guests. They fit easily in your hand without slipping our, work incredibly well, easily allow for picking up small to large amounts of food items such as pop corn, salad, etc. without spillage, lock closed when not in use to allow for more space saving storage and are easy to clean. For the effective range of usefulness I think the price ends up being pretty reasonable. I have to say that when I first saw them I thought they were just another useless gadget, but it turns out they really do all they are advertised as doing.

I always get compliments and comments on this Salad server. It is very durable, strong, and handy. It is a vivid red and opens and closes with ease. Everyone always asks where I got it. It is ample in size, you can pick up a portion of toss salad enough to serve a healthy large portion.

Simple – Salad, Pasta, anything loose
This replaces another that we have had for over 10 years. The hinge was starting to fail. It still works, but it was good to have the replacement! It is nice because it picks up a generous amount each time, and can get into the edges of whatever is containing the product getting picked up.

It looks silly, It feels good, It’s FUN to use. I recommend it highly, I use it at Olive Garden too (yes a few comments about where to get it). I use a rubber-band from my celery to keep it closed when I take it with me because it doesn’t seem to have a lock feature… I LOVE IT.
