Great features in a small kettle!
I wanted a small kettle for our camper and this fit the bill perfectly (criteria: 1L, temperature control, keep warm option). From the vendor’s product description, it was unclear to me how the temp control worked–were they presets only (as shown in one of the product photos) or did one have to click down one degree at a time until the desired temp? Well it is very easy to use: select the minus button to get to the ‘correct’ temp and press the power button. It decreases in 2 degree increments although will go VERY quickly if you long-press the minus/plus buttons. What is not intuitive is using the keep warm function; it does work well though. The only thing I don’t like is that storing the kettle on its base keeps the power button lit; you have to unplug the base, or store the kettle elsewhere. I hadn’t expected the digital display to show the kettle temp–I thought it displayed the chosen temp–so that was a nice surprise! It would’ve been helpful if more information had been posted by the vendor on the operation of this kettle. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!

Great Smaller Kettle with some longevity.
We are on the second one of these. (with two in the middle that were not this one –one died quickly, and the other was too large for our (age related) ability to lift with even less than its designated amount of water).We chose to get another of these because the first one lasted a long time (a kettle of any kind gets a great deal of use in our household) — this one has been going strong for at least 4 months now. No flaws — only a few design suggestions :)It does have a little window to see how much water is in it and to ensure not to over-fill it — but its only on one side –favoring right-handed people which is typical of most, but, still, unfortunate.Because of its size (not too big) it gets away with its on/off switch being high up on the handle as oppose to the “paddle” at the base that many have, which tends to be easier on old shoulders.One feature I thought would be a hindrance (but turns out to be ok) is the opening of the lid (to access pouring the water in.) On many that have it in this position (on the lid itself) there is an issue of getting “steam” burns under certain circumstances. However, this one masters that aspect well (no steam hits the hand.) Once again, though, it might be more useful to have it incorporated close to the base. or perhaps on the handle. — But to be fair, because it is the SIZE that it is (which is perfect for us) it works very well and, surprisingly, all the features work as they are supposed to.My suggestions are driven not, so much, by MY use, but another member’s of the household who is disabled, and must be seated to access everything including this kettle. It works for this person, but quite a bit less efficiently than it does for me, who can (more nearly) stand over it like most traditionally-abled folk are able to do.Nevertheless, the price is right (or was when we bought it LOL) and we are very pleased, because it has a capacity size that is rare, and meets our needs, plus it doest have to be replaced every six months. its a winner!

Love this kettle
I Love this kettle. It boils quickly, turns off by itself, but the water is still boiling as you pour it over the tea bag. It does not let you open the top until it has cooled down – an interesting feature. I also love the blue lights that turn on when the kettle is on.

I would recommend this item over some of the more expensive and nicer looking water boiler. It worked well and more importantly it doesn’t break so easily. The only con is that it looks a little cheap.

Temperature control
So far I love this little kettle. It’s only 1 liter which is perfect for me or someone who does not drink 3 or 4 cups of coffee or tea. It does a keep warm feature which is simple to use. I just drink one 14 oz cup of coffee in the morning from my French Press. It is not very clear in the description how the temperature setting works. So here it is. You press button once it’s plugged in. It will automatically show 212 degrees. If you want it to just boil then leave it alone. If you want a lower temperature, just push the – temp button.Each time you push the button the temp will drop 2 degrees until you get to the temp you want. The plus button works the same way. Also if long press either button, the temp will increase or decrease rapidly. Love that the lid comes off and that it’s easy to clean. SIMPLE.

Small and sturdy:
The Mixpresso electric kettle is small and sturdy, but is the perfect size for me and my needs. In other words it would not be suitable for a large family if everybody wanted hot water at the same time! It does the job perfectly, boils water quickly, looks good and so far I haven’t had any problems, let’s hope that continues for a few years. I once had an electric kettle that survived at least 10 years. It still works, but has a leak, I keep it as back up, just in case this one goes out. I had one that lasted about three months (different company) and luckily got it replaced, that one lasted about the same time and got it replaced then that new one lasted just long enough to outlast the warranty and I couldn’t get it replaced so that is when I changed to the Mixpresso. Have had poor luck with electric kettles within the past year or two. Therefore I am a little dubious.

It last only one year and five days
They don’t make things to last these days and here is another example. This kettle only last one year and five days. It work fine for that year but how well it worked was over shadowed by the fact it stopped working after a year. I did what they say to do in the troubleshooting section. Plugged it in, cleaned the connections and nothing. Go ahead and try this product if you want, but you might want to set up a subscription to send you one every year. Garbage.
