Seller included extra pan in case of damage
These pie pans are very sturdy, and strong. A sharp knife was used to cut into pie but it did not pierce the pan. It did leave a mark but pan can be used again. Seller listened to other reviews and included an extra pan in case of damage. I did not have any damage so I got an extra pan! Will order from them again! Perfect pan for deep dish pies.

In the past, Iâve had a lot of trouble with grocery-store aluminum foil pans; they are very weak, making it hard to lift and carry the pies without bending the pie pan and ruining the pies. I wanted something more durable but I didnât want to pay an arm and a leg for disposable pans. With these affordable KitchenDance pans, I found a great solution!These pans are MUCH more substantial than regular foil pans. They feel almost like non-disposable metal pans. Yes, it is possible to bend or dent them, but youâd have to be pretty intentional about it. I was able to pile up a huge stack of apples in one pie plate and still hold it with just one hand. No bending! This is a lifesaver for me when Iâm baking a dozen pies. I donât have to remake a pie because the pie pan bent and the pie collapsed.I was surprised by the volume of filling each pan can hold. They hold more than my non-disposable 9â pie plates do. I felt good about selling my pies at the bake sale because I knew there was a lot of filling in each piece. Happy customers!NOTE: You should hand wash these pans. Good value for a semi-disposable pan
I use these pans for selling custom pies so I don’t have to lend out my own pans. I am happy with the size, the rim, and the material. While they are easily punctured by a knife, they will stand up to a second use if pies are cut with a plastic utensil. More importantly, they are far sturdier than most other disposable pans, which makes for more stable transport. Even for only a single use, I feel these pans are a good value when using your own “permanent” pans isn’t realistic.

Sturdy, Reusable, Well Performing
Great, sturdy, reusable pie pans you can give away. (Theyâre just not as shiny after you hand wash them.) Iâve baked several pies to give to family and would never go back to the flimsy grocery store ones.Crusts turn out just fine with these, especially if you use a preheated metal cookie sheet in the oven. These pans have worked well for me blind baking crusts for pecan pie; pre baking extra-thick graham cracker crusts for key lime pie; and plain old regular baking double crusts for apple pie (both butter and shortening crusts).The real test for this pie pan was NOT blind baking the crust for pumpkin pie, because a pie pan that doesnât conduct heat well can produce a soggy, underbaked crust with such a wet filling. Iâm happy to report that my pumpkin pie was perfect and received a lot of compliments at Thanksgiving.Overall Iâm very pleased with my purchase and plan to buy more of these next holiday season.
