Great stainless steel interior
Absolutely perfect! I got this 1L electric kettle to replace my 1.7L electric kettle that was all plastic, including the interior, and a bit too large for my needs. I love that the inside of this kettle is stainless steel (no more boiling water in plastic!) and a clean look (unlike others I saw on Amazon w a long rod inside the pot). It heats up and boils really fast and quiet, has an indicator light when itâs on, power button, auto shutoff, great retractable cord for a clean look on the counter and perfect size. I got it in white, nice/clean look, awesome kettle!

Fast, compact and well designed.
I originally purchased a more expensive model for a coffee pour-over, but it died within a year. So i decided I would take a chance with this one and I am very happy. It sits on the counter and doesn’t take up much space, is nice looking, but best of all boils water fast. There is a small blue light that let’s you know when you have turned it on, and it automatically turns off when the water is boiled. There is enough water boiled for a pot of tea for my wife and one for me. Great purchase.

Great, Needs to be Thoroughly Cleaned
This definitely beats a stovetop kettle. Simple to use, and seems like it works as well as other kettles I’ve seen. From max fill of cold water, I was able to reach a rolling boil in about two minutes. I was actually impressed that it heats up as fast as other, more expensive units.Following directions, I ran it twice to boil, and discarded the water both times. Both times, I saw a lot of dirt and grime in the water as it was starting to boil. Seeing that, I didn’t want to try and use it for actual drinking until I can clean it thoroughly. Also going to try and test how it behaves with purified water, if the same residue is present then.Nice unit overall, and very helpful, especially going into fall where tea, oatmeal, and hot beverages are going to be the norm in the mornings. I will have to do a deep cleaning by hand as well.I would buy again if I needed an extra, or even a first kettle.

Cheaply made but hopefully it will hold up with daily use
I like that this boils water quickly and has no contact with plastic. However, it is very cheaply made and I doubt it will last long. It’s very lightweight and the pitcher does not sit flat onto the base unless filled with water. Otherwise it is quite wobbly. I do however like the size, and the ability to fully remove the lid rather than having a hinged lid, but wished it was slightly bigger. Good for boiling a cup or two at a time.Update: 1 day after writing this review, it is now malfunctioning. It keeps cycling on when the button is not pressed down and is now a fire hazard. Dropping it to 1 star.
