An even and complete toast
In 70 years I have owned many toasters. This one makes the best toast. Even browning across the slice and even side to side. Easy +/- adjustments to get the browning level you like best. It could use just a bit more room. It does hold a standard slice well and that is what I use almost all the time.

The Perfect Toaster Doesn’t Exist
My conclusion: the perfect toaster doesn’t exist. This toaster is good and it works well, its just that the fancy buttons (which they most likely thought would justify the price) don’t work. When you use the single slice option, both wells light up. It doesn’t toast evenly, one side gets toasted, the other side gets warmed up.However, the little digital screen is cool and it appears to work very well. And it looks fancy.I’ve given up looking after testing 5 toasters from $20 to $169, they’re all the same.

Great toaster with the right options
I really like this toaster. For years, weâve been using our Smart Oven (essentially a fancy toaster oven) as a toaster, but I finally gave in to convenience and got a toaster. I wanted something nicer than the bare-bones, super cheap model, but I didnât need one of the expensive models that had 75 different options and toasting styles thatâs Iâd most likely never use. Thatâs unnecessary, complicated overkill. I did some research and I like that Americaâs Test Kitchen rated this model really high and said it toasted evenly. They were right! Whether I put in a bagel, simple sandwich bread, a banana, a pop-tart or more, everything comes out evenly toasted with no light spots or burnt edges. It has a nice group of choices for bread types or sweets (without going overboard) and I like the defrost button for frozen items. I havenât found anything yet that toasted poorly with this toaster. I also like that I can do multiple toastings – one right after another – without it getting too hot or toasting unevenly. Since itâs only my husband and I in the household, I donât need the large footprint of a 4 slice toaster, so itâs nice to know that when the grandkids come over, I can do multiple rounds of toasting without any issues. I love how fast the toaster works. I was used to the long waits of a toaster oven, but just about everything Iâve made gets done in 5 min or less. I also really like the fact that it was easy to figure out. I didnât need any directions to start using it. Overall, itâs a great toaster at a reasonable price.

Broke in less than a year and a half- barely used
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loved all the features and the function. We eat toast rarely, still, it was nice to have. However, it broke a few months ago, and nothing we have tried will fix it. The panel is dead, and all it will do is emit a constant clicking sound. I would not recommend this product, nor would I buy it again.

Inconsistent toasting, good price, minimal features
We were not able to make this toaster work for our needs. Only 2 of us. We use small easy sized pieces of artisan whole grain bread – never bagels, large bread, etc. The price is great, there are a few extra features. But we could not consistently make the toast we wanted: toasted golden on each side of the bread. Same settings – always different outcomes. It had to go back.
