Farberware Classic Fantastic !
So seriously needed smaller sauce pans big time and I grew up on Farberware and with the exception of my penny pots and pans and Lector roaster I buy Farberware. The Classic line is the best. So why I love my 1 and 2 quart purchases: 1. Rivets are not on the inside 🙂 2. All stainless steal 3. Longer handles 4. Great price with excellent qualityItâs a brand I know and trust. These are definitely Farberware: No question about it, so not a knock off. Farberware is known for being a made in the USA product and itâs also know for being an affordable brand. Itâs carried in a variety of discount super stores. I find that it is many times under rated. Its an amazing product that I always get great results from while cooking. Great heat distribution, easy to clean and because itâs stainless, scouring doesnât hurt it, it makes it shine. They are light weight and the Classic models come with nice hangers built in for hanging on a pot rack. They are durable, reliable and I highly recommend them. ðð

Great
I use this 3-4 times every day. Still looks like new. It’s your classic standby pot, great for all kinds of things. I actually mostly boil water in it. Can’t beat it for your go-to day pot. Sturdy and easy to clean. These things seem to last a lifetime at the least.

Buy Farberware pots and pans and you will have them for a lifetime!
Farberware brand has been synonymous in our family for as long as I can remember. My mother had Farberware, my sister and I have Farberware and our children will ALL have Farberware products in their households. I even snagged all my motherâs Farberware pots when she passed away and still use them to this day. I just bought my grandson’s wife her first set of Farberware pots and pans for Christmas. She called me immediately when she opened the huge box I sent to her in Canada and she couldn’t stop screaming with delight over her new pots and pans because of the quality, the shape of the handle, and the ease of cooking with them. Yes, she had already started cooking in them when she called me. I bought her a starter set – one 0.625 quarts, Stainless Steel Butter Warmer/Small Saucepan, two 1-quart, two 2-quart, two 3-quart Non-stick Pan/with lid, one 16-quart stock pot/with lid, one Glide Deep Nonstick Frying Pan-12.5 inch, and one Glide Ceramic Nonstick Saute Pan with lid and Helper Handle 4-quart. I know what all of you are thinking right now â that this was an expensive purchase on my part. However, when you have a growing family of five and you want to have the best tools/pots to make the best meals for a lifetime â you buy Farberware. Iâm 69 years old and through the years Iâve tried a lot of different brands. Iâve thrown away all the inferior pots and pans (or sold them for pennies on the dollar in garage sales) that advertisers have said were better. I now have nothing but Farberware in my kitchen cabinets for superior-quality cooking and ease of cleanup. So, if you want a âwork-horseâ set of pots and pans that will stand the test of time â buy Farberware â I highly recommend them. – enough said!

Excellent, Wonderful, Superb Cookware
These Stainless Steel pots and pans are excellent. My family used Farberware when they were made in the USA. But they are still wonderful. So, Farberware advertises as 18/10 with nickel, and some of their cookware advertises as 18/0, which does NOT have nickel. Thank goodness, I did my research! Otherwise, the advertising would be conflicting. I have a secret for others looking to know if there is nickel in their cookware if they are allergic to nickel. Get a magnet and if the magnet sticks to the cooking pot, there is NO nickel. If it doesn’t stick, they have nickel. Anyway, as far as the magnet test, the Farberware labeled “Classic” I have tested with a magnet, does not have nickel 18/0. But, I would test each pot to make sure. In addition, Faberware is so easy to cook with. It barely needs heat or a fire to cook your food evenly and at a good pace because of the way the bottom is layered. I only cook with Faberware and have for several decades.

So glad I found this1
I confess that I’d done in my circa-1985 two-quart pot by boiling it dry one too many times until the aluminum disk warped and popped off. This new pot is a about a half-inch taller and narrower than my previous one, but it’s still a perfect size and shape. It matches the rest of the set that I still use (3-qt saucepan, small and large stockpots, and small and large all-stainless (pre-nonstick) skillets. The inside of this new one is different, more of a brushed finish that the old glossy one, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem. My strong preference has always been for solid metal lids — I find glass lids much too heavy and not as sturdy as metal, and typically have too many crevices to clean..I prefer the welded handle base to rivets — crud get around and under rivets and in my experience can never totally be cleaned properly.I’ve used this new pot every day for the last week and it’s looking great inside and out. No staining, pock marks, rusting; I hand-wash it using dry baking soda with a non-stick safe scrubber sponge for regular cleaning and go to Bon Ami if I need something stronger. I do not use the dishwasher, steel wool, or other abrasive cleaning methods.I don’t know if this pan will last as long as the previous one but I don’t see why it wouldn’t. I’m very glad I found this here, and at a nice price.

Can’t go wrong with this one. Although sometimes you have to wash the seams of the lid more carefully in order to clean it properly.

Malgré que c’est petit, c’est un bon chaudron. Les aliments ne colle pas et c’est tres facile a nettoyer. Garde son éclat. Le manche ne se rechauffe pas. Tres practique pour des petites portion. Très contente de mon achat.
