I love not having to use foil around my pies! These work I just wish they stayed in place a bit better. Maybe adding another piece to lock in would be helpful?! Either way, saves me money and time, that makes me glad!

Last November, for Thanksgiving, I could not for the life of me locate my pie crust shields! My husband & I just moved to a new place about 5 months before Thanksgiving & if my suspicions were correct, I would say that someone had to have tossed them out! (UGH!!) I wished I had the pie shields you see here in these pictures last November. Because I literally had to “shape” aluminum foil onto the top of 4 pumpkin pies on Thanksgiving! NOT FUN!Now for the nice things I have to say about these pie shields….I never knew these shields were adjustable! These also have a notch on one end that you can fit into a slot to make it stay in place! (*see my 3 pictures above*) Now this is ingenuity at it’s finest! Whoever invented these should get the Nobel Peace Prize! I also love that these are made of silicone as well!I haven’t used these yet. But I will one day! Thank you for such an amazing product!

Tried using this and it was extremely disappointing. The description says that it is variable in size. Thatâs true, but regardless of what size you try to fit it to, the hook is too small to keep it in place. Regardless of what size I tried to shape it to, it would fall off the hook in 15 seconds. At first I thought it was too tight, so I loosened, it fell off. Then I tried tightening, it fell off. I tried hooking it differently, nothing worked. I had others try thinking maybe it was user error. Nope. My crust started burning, I opted for tin foil since this âcrust saverâ had no intentions of doing anything but falling off . Save your money.
