These tongs are handy, sturdy and cleverly made. They have a lock on them to keep them closed when not in use so they take up less room in my drawer, and they have an eye on them so you can hang them if you want.

Not being used for what you might think
Long story short, I need 2 total hip replacements and I can no longer bend at my knees without having shooting pains up my legs and into my hips. I got two of the 17″tongs, one for cooking and taking food items off the back of the grill when cooking. I also use it to grab something light off a tall and deep shelf when I can’t reach the items. The second one is used for crafting and using my glue gun (saves your fingers) picking up pinecones, gum balls and sharp glass, also nice when planting flower bulbs when the hole is not wide enough for your hand to place the bulb root side down
