Great Pan
On arrival, I thought the pan looked and felt a bit flimsy. For the price I paid (less than 20), it was worth trying it out, so I decided to keep it. It’s far exceeds my expectations. Yes, lightweight and thin, but a true positive addition to my cookware. Handles high heat, just the right amount of room for small to large roasting/baking, sides are the perfect height, and fits easily in sink for clean-up. Recommendations: 1. very, very lightly coat pan with oil before putting in food 2.do not put in water before it cools 3.soaking for an hour will remove just about anything ‘stuck’ to it, including burned bits and sticky foods. 4. never use overly abraisive products to scrub it; it doesn’t need it and you will scratch the pan. Just a light buff with a brillo pad or plastic scrubby for the top rim will remove the splatter marks.Every time I use it, I’m amazed at how well it does, and how easy it is to clean. I could have easily spent three times as much for a pan that size thinking it had to be some bulky, heavy, made to last forever type of pan, but I’m glad I took a chance on this one. Worth every penny and more.

A Top Quality Pan
I have been using two of these pans for several months now, and am quite happy with them. I make lots of Chex Mix, sometimes 3 large batches a week. I use about 4X the butter and Worcestershire that the recipe calls for, so the mix starts out in the pan soaking wet with dark gummy seasoning. Then it has to sit in the oven for 2.5 hours at 200 degrees to get it crispy again. This cooks the seasoning onto the pan’s surface, but all I ever do is throw it into the dishwasher and it comes out looking like new. Never any rust or discoloration of the metal. A few times we have even used these for roasting meatloaf or chicken. In these cases I do use a 3M pad to take off the heavy cooked-on matter before going into the dishwasher. Same great results, and with no scratching from the 3M pad. I don’t know how I got along without these for so long.

Good baking pan!
This is a good baking pan. It cleans well so far except a little of glue still is on the pan. It is sturdy so far and easy to remove from the oven. This pan is medium size. I haven’t cook anything heavy in it yet except sweet potatoes. So far it is a good pan.

feels thin and flimsy
good size. thin and not sturdy. I’ve never had a steel pan whose instructions said not to use metal utensils

takes a little more than some elbow grease to first use this pan
I have just revieved this pan about an hour ago. Apparently the manufacturer thought it was necessary to use industrial strenth glue to glue a sheet of paper in the inside of the pan. I am . Baking hobbyst and not a fan of eating glue with my food. Tried pealing with fingers first, this glue is not like the glue your credit card comes with. Tried duck tape method, no noticable difference. Tried hot water + dish soap, made a huge mess. Hot water + vinegar, no difference. Heat gun + non abrasive sponge, nope just melts evenly and makes even bigger mess. Knife + dish soap, last thing i tried before calling it quits and used metalic threadded sponge. Overall it took me 40+ minutes. So word of advise, stay away unless you love scratching your cookware before even cooking anything in it.As for the quality of the pan, magnet does not stick to the pan which is good. Very light weight comparable to cheap aluminum 1 use pans. On the other hand, its very flimsy. And this is not comming from commercial chef whos used to thick pans. Its super flimsy. Also the edge isnt perfectly rolled over buy more like they tried rolling it, gave up and just folded. Its un evenly folded and i have actually drawn blood while trying to maintain my grip during the rubbing process. Overall dissatisfied with this purchase and probably will never buy from fox run.

Best Baking Pan Ever!
Very nice stainless steel pan. It is a thin pan, but seems to cook really well and I think the thin design helps with heat transference. Food browns very nice in the pan without getting overly brown on the bottom.I’ve used the pan for everything from scalloped potatoes to cornbread.Easy to clean with a sponge that has a “soft scratchy side”. If something really sticks which it doesn’t usually, just use a little bit of barkeepers friend. The pan is really shiny and I think overall I’m going to get many years of good cooking use with it.Update 11-2-14I use this pan exclusively for baking tons of bar cookie recipes and they come out beautiful every time. Love these pans so much I went back and bought a few more and I’m considering the smaller size too for fudge. Best baking pan I’ve ever used and I’m very pleased.I have found that with bakewear and cookware, its all about heat transference. Heavy pans may feel nicer but they rarely transfer heat properly to get the right temperatures for many recipes. With this thinner stainless steel pan, the heat transfers perfectly. I do always spray the pan with the baking Pam spray so that everything comes right out, but I have forgotten a few times and the pan cleaned up easily enough by running hot water on it at the same time you’re wiping with a sponge.

Works just great.
Yes, this is a thin pan, but it works just great. The first thing I made was roasted red potatoes with Rosemary and the dish turned out perfectly. However, the glue that the company used to stick the label on the pan was something short of super-duper glue. Make sure you have time to soak the pan with soap for hours before using it, then use a plastic or wooden scraper to pry it off.I plan to order at least one more pan. I have used it several times and everything comes out fine.UPDATE, October 2015:I finally ordered another pan, and Fox Run must have listened to all our complaints about the glue, because it was 10,000 times easier to remove it!I love my pans, and use them for everything: roasting vegetables, cooking meat, baking potatoes. Buh-bye all non-stainless pans…hope you enjoy being recycled.

I have a few of these in my kitchen that I have used for years but was never able to find anymore until I saw these and purchased them. They are of great quality stainless steel and I use them for baking, casseroles, cooking meats and potatoes etc. just about everything. The pans are easy to wash and I know they will last forever. Hight recommend them.

it’s an inexpensive pan… you get what you pay for… This pan will last a couple years and be replaced.Edit: 4 years later – Nothing has changed about my review. This pan is lightweight and therefore not great, it warps at higher temperatures and forget about putting it on your stove top to make gravy. Look, it’s a fine cheap pan but do not get fooled by the “stainless steel” as I was. This is a very light weight pan and it stains over time. I keep it around for things like Bain Marie and occasionally for reheating items when I need to get two pans in the oven at the same time. It’s smaller than my quality pan so I can get two side by side lengthwise in the oven.
