Classic Pyrex set, with both Imperial and metric measures
I love that this set has both Imperial and Metric measures on it. I bought it for my apartment in Brazil, but my recipes (and me) are all from the US. This saves me the time and trouble of trying to calculate conversions when cooking.These are the classic Pyrex glass measuring cups, made to last a lifetime and then some. I have a similar set I purchased for my house in the US back in 1980, and those are still in excellent condition. I know these will be well loved by someone long after I am gone…

I like these glass measuring cups, they are well made, the measurements are clear and they last a long time. My entire family has been using them for over half a century. I like this set because you can cook one recipe that has different ingredients, and prepare them separately. They came well packed, and it was delivered promptly. For me they are the best measuring cups in the market. Recommend them.

Strong. No warping or bending when full. Doesn’t stain or hold orders like plastic. Easy to clean. Clear markings in both metric and imperial (US common) measuring systems. Microwaveable, but be warned they can get extremely hot so do not attempt to pick one up bare handed after its been in the microwave. Pyrex measuring cups (and dishes) can chip, but in my experience it takes a great deal of force at just the right angle. Pyrex is incredibly durable and are often passed down through generations. The measuring lines are not quite so durable. Fading from use and as they age so after 60 or 70 years they can be a little bit harder to read. In short, they are the only product worth more than it’s initial price. Get yourself a set. You’ll be glad you did.

Pyrex makes the best products however iykyk that all caps Pyrex is made in the good ol USA yea! But all lowercase is made in china. I wasnât hip to this when I purchased tho I havenât had any problems with cracking or breakage due to extreme temperature changes.

Pyrex has been around for a long time.Their products tend to be of the highest quality possible.For example the graduation markings on the measuring cups last an extremely long time. Not something you find with plastic measuring cups.Pyrex can be used in hot or cold applications which is handy for use at home or commercially.This set of 3 measuring cups by Pyrex I suspect will last me a very long time and I was able to purchase them at Amazon for a very reasonable price.
