Just as I remember from Boy Scouts. I purchased the pack of can openers and I was very pleased. I have one of these can openers that is 38 years old and still works. The pack of can openers is of the same quality. I passed several of them out to a group of my friends. A couple of them were very impressed that they open cans. No can opener lasts forever. They get dull and don’t cut the metals lids properly, and are hard to sharpen. Having P38 and P51 can openers around is great. They are small and easily handled. The only small problem is that it does take some strength to use them since there is no long lever arm.

Received the shipment today and in general they will work in an emergency.These are the issues I have:1 of the P-51 was not closed properly on the cutting blade so it was not attached and missing from the shipment meaning there are 5 usable P-51s (not really an issue since I only need 3-4 for emergency bags).The key ring hole for the P-51 is placed so that getting the provided key rings on is REALLY hard.The key ring hole on the P-38 is next to the blade meaning it would be unusable if placed on the key ring. I am going to drill holes in the handle side away from the blade, so more of an annoyance than a deal breaker.
