This is an excellent peeler and makes awesome matchsticks if you hate how tedious it is to make them with a knife. I would totally buy again. Please be more careful than me, the blades are super sharp. I was planning on cutting my nails today and Iâm so glad I waited or I would have sliced deep into my pinky. This thing made a clean cut through my fingernail like it was nothing, in my experience it will do the same thing for your veggies.

Even if i used this device for its intended purposes, I suffered multiple skin deep cuts which caused bleeding similar to shaving with a hand razor and shaving cream. But please be aware that the so-called julienne cutter does NOT cut vegetables into classic, four-sided julienne strips: instead the strips are similar to the results you would get when using a grater, only they are the full length of the carrot or other vegetable. I found this very disappointing indeed.I have uploaded a photo of the ‘julienne carrot’ I made with this tool and 2 photos of what julienne strips should look like.
