Pleased with purchase
I’m pleased with the board. The product was priced fairly and met my needs. I especially wanted a cutting board that wasn’t too big or too small. This met my needs.UPDATE: Board warps or bows when submerged under water – but, after a couple of days, it flattens out, returning to its normal condition.

Replacement
So I ordered this as a replacement because I did not know that I could not put a wooden cutting board in the dishwasher. With that being said, I will say that the ease of cleaning is amazing. It is very resistant and the quality is good for the amount of money you pay. It is a good value. It has definitely held up as far as durability goes, and it was the perfect replacement as far as size.

Small
Its a bit small for most jobs. Also started to crack when i put in the dishwasher. Otherwise ok.

They work great
I’ve had a pair of these for seven months and use them several times a week for fruits, veggies, and bread. I don’t like juice grooves, but the side without is also flat and smooth so I just use that side. No cracks or checking. They aren’t particularly pretty like cherry, acacia, and many other food-grade woods, but they look fine, they were inexpensive, and they don’t maul my knives like bamboo would.

Arrived pre-warped, broke easily
It functions as a cheap slab of wood to cut things on, but the wood was glued together badly, as shown in the photo, and it is impossible to actually properly clean. It’s not even worth oiling for long term care – I thought “I’d be lucky if I get a year’s worth of work out of this, and I’ll honestly be putting my health at risk in the process.”And lo and behold, not too long after writing this review, the thing fell and just *shattered* into two pieces, along the badly glued joint. I’ve never even heard of this happening before but the manufacturing defects were so obvious that, as I said, I expected it to happen. Avoid.

Thick not juicy
My first impression is this thing is thick. Itâs nice and durable lays flat and keeps liquids were theyâre supposed to be. If I ever break this in a cutting board jousting competition I will definitely get another one.

Was very happy to find this perfect small size for quick little jobs. I have several large wood boards (other brands) that I’m happy with. Just didn’t want to drag out/clean a big heavy board for those tiny jobs.Unwrapped and saw multiple rough spots. OK, no problem, we have sandpaper and know how to use it. After all, got the board at a very reasonable price…. about 2/3 of tonight’s price actually. We have “brought back” a used board that looked like someone put it in the dishwasher…. repeatedly. Know how to look after wood….. both our dads were carpenters.Husband brought it back in from garage all nice and smooth. I rinsed it under the tap to get rid of any sawdust/ etc. Instantly a new batch of splinters popped up. Husband says OK, he’ll just sand it again since I like the size. Dry board thoroughly, repeat above….. more splinters…. nope….. I’m done!!! Some would come off when you rubbed sideways against the grain. But when you look closely, you can see many more just waiting. Not good quality wood.Scary when you think of possibly eating splinters….. and where they could end up in the body. Not worth taking a chance in my opinion. Just finished wrapping it to go back. Never even used it once.

It’s not polished well, you can get a splinter. Didn’t expect it from kitchen aid.
